Yes -- it was so powerful and so scary -- the shots were rapid. Pow, pow, pow, pow, pow. I had never heard that many live shots being fired before -- ever. It was a real weapon aimed at real people. SMH.

Pecan pie with cool whhip...is my tradition during closing and verdict watch (as you well know, Joey) but I have a doctor appointment next week and I'm being forced to keep all my "numbers" down. Sadly, A chocolate, nut sweet & salty granola bar will have to do.

This is when I start to get very superstitious -- scared that it won't go the way I think it will -- so I never guess this close to verdict time -- I am just so afraid something will jinx it.

I do think it should be sooner rather than later.

Justice for the victims and those who love them and for the People of the State of Colorado.

@xxxxxxxx @xxxxxxxx Good question. Biggest reason for Friday off was for #theatershooting juror conflict. I'd guess it's non-negotiable. (IIRC--didn't a juror have a doctor appointment?)

I had tweeted about the victims who lost their lives and it dawned on me that there are so many who are still suffering. I don't want them to think people aren't thinking of them too. They may read the tweets. I wanted them to feel supported too.

You have to sneak in to your doctors office. Adjust the scales so you appear lighter. Not sure how you can fix your blood pressure though!

I'm at the Diabetes clinic tomorrow. I know I haven't been good lately (birthday cake and ice cream!). I hope the nurse is in a good mood lol!
