Please also remember that sometimes the information in the cases you have looked at may be incorrect. It's not because they don't know, but details could be generalizations (height and weight are good examples) for either a missing person or a JD. Do you have some besides Nyleen that you have considered the closest? I agree it looks very similar.

That is a very strong possiblity--her being a prostitute. There are so many different angles to look at this. There were quite a few missing women/children that came close to a match, but there were also a few missing persons shown in the mini video of Jane Doe that I had speculated about being a match that I am assuming according to the video did not make a positive match. These are all of the missing cases I feel fit her description some more so than others. In some of the cases, I am just going by appx height/weight not so much the physical appearance such as eye color/hair. Some may have tatoos or other scars or moles, but the killer could have scraped those off of her as to scrape away at her identity, not really being noticed by the medical examiner due to the torturing, who knows. Even some of the dates are after her death but like I said, the "last seen" could be incorrectly posted or the eyewitness's dates were incorrect or even intentionally stated wrong by a family member. Let me know what you think on the closest matches. There are only a few I feel really strongly about.

Wow - Doreen Vincent is by far the closest possibility I've ever seen! Not that I would want to see what happened to Racine JD happen to anyone's child. But it sure looks like a potential match to me! I wonder if she's ever been checked out???

Good job Buttercup! I've been trying for a while to find a match for her. I have had no luck. Doe Network had told me they really think she was from another country because of her severe teeth decay. But HELLO, since when do child abductors take you to the dentist? (IMO) Doreen has been missing since 88, poor dental hygiene & lack of nutrition would probably do a number on a set of teeth.

Buttercup - I have been obsessed with this case as well. It truly breaks my heart. I have been looking endlessly for a match and must have overlooked Doreen. There have been posters who believed Racine JD must have been a bit older due to the condition of her teeth. If my calculations are correct, Doreen would have been 23 when RJD was found. If this girl was abducted at the age of 12, I can see how her teeth weren't in good shape. Anyone care to contact the Doe Network to see if Doreen has been checked against Racine Jane Doe?

Okay, after looking at Lori Ann Krueger a little more closely, I see that she doesn't really fit JD's description. Lori's forehead is smaller, nose is different, eyes have more of a downward slope and the facial structure is also different. I can definately rule out Jennifer Lynn Fay, Brooke Leigh Hensen, Tabitha Diane Brewer, Wendy Kathlene Hudakoc and Christina Marchell Richart.

These missing women and children are shown in the Jane Doe's video I previously posted of missing persons that LE have all ready looked into. I had to repeatedly click the mouse to actually see the missing since the pictures are shown so fast.

I am fairly ceratin that I can also rule out Theresa Ann Bier, Stephanie June Lucero, Karen Marie Mitchell, Tawnya Fay Parker, Amy Lynn Bradley, Melissa Lynn Eck, Tracie Lynn Mosley, Kristina Joanne Porco, Amanda Gail Slaughter, Monica Lynn Appleton just due to the fact that none of these women really "look" like Jane Doe.

That being said, Dina Michele Shoemake. Susan Marie Cummings, Eva Maire Fiedler, Natasha Marie Shanes, Kimberly Alice KIng, Deborah Ann Quimby, Marjorie Christina Luna, Doreen Jane Vincent, Aundria Michelle Bowman, Sarah Lee Murphy, and Lurline M. Bergeron are all matching possiblities with Doreen Jane Vincent being in my opinion as well, on the top of the list of being the closest match.

Doreen's physical description is so close to that of Jane Doe. She more than likely did run away (since she had money and clothing on her at the time of her disappearance) and maybe was a transient for some time, became a prostitute or involved with drugs and was picked up by some freak.

Doreen has so many of the fitting physical characteristics of Jane Doe. The short, wavy curly brown hair, the hazel eyes, double pierced ears, probably Jane Doe's height by the time she reached maturity, long slender neck and her nose and lips are a very close match as well. I wish they had a better pic showing Doreen's ears. Jane Doe's are lower set and she also had that cauliflower ear deformity but we don't know if that was something that happened due to the beating/torturing she endured or if it was a injury she sustained as a child.

I read up on cauliflower ear because I had never heard of it prior to reading Jane Doe's report. If medical attention is not seeked shortly after the injury to the ear, the cartilage breaks down and causes the cartlilage to die. The outer ear becomes permanently swollen and deformed giving it that cauliflower resemblence. It can also cause hearing loss in the ear. Cauliflower ear is very common in boxers and wrestlers from the repeated blows to the head. But I can see it happening to someone who has taken a hard fall or a hit from maybe a baseball.

I would think had the injury happened prior to Doreen's disappearance that would have been a factor in her description that she had a deformed ear and possibly hearing loss.

I am so new to this, and I know this sounds ignorant, I wouldn't even know how to go about contacting authorities or The Doe Network. I don't want them to think that I am some kind of nut case. Well, I guess I am, lol, not having anything better to do then to sit here on my computer looking up cold cases.

Jane Doe has just taken up so much of my time that I guess it never crossed my mind what I would do if I did infact think I had a match. Can anyone give me some ideas on what I should say and who exactly to contact first. Is the Doe Network contacted by law enforcement authorities if she (Doreen--or anyone missing for that matter) was ever a possible match. I mean, would that have that info in their records?

Found some other cases for racine cnty around the same time. Wonder if the girl was from Illinois the same as the other young girl who was killed a 1 1/2 year ealier? At first they were saying the two were unrelated then later in news articles they are saying they could be related murders?

I myself just joined last week. Although I have been reading the posts for some time now.

I have often thought these other two cases could be related to the Raymond Jane Doe. The woman from Illinois, Mary Kate Sunderlin (I believe was her name) her killers were caught, tried and convicted before she ever even was identified.

I have not came across anything yet since their convictions that they had anything to do with her murder. I did read though after they were convicted that the woman in charge of the of the Raymond Jane Doe either all ready contacted authorities and she was waiting for a response or she was going to look into it. Can't remember. I think the man that was mainly involved with Mary's murder name is Jason Strong if you want to read about it. There were three men all together that took part in her murder.

Amber Gail Creek's (the girl found in Burlington) killer(s), have not unfortunately been found.

I have searched and searched the missing persons more extensively in the midwestern states without any luck so far for a good match.

so sad about all these girls/woman missing, jane does. Found the full version of some of the above articles at another section on this site. So often when I see these young woman who are never claimed I often think they could be foster children. At one time I had come across .gov website of pages and pages and pages of missing children from the foster system in Illinois or New York. Many were young people who were marked as runaways. To me these young people would be easy victims because no one cares or is looking for them.

The other articles about this jane doe says her teeth were either missing or badly decaying which makes me think she was either into some heavy drugs at a young age or she came from a poor backround.

Another side note is that if she had grey eyes or brown eyes with brown hair coming from milwaukee area she could of been american indian. If this is the case she may not be in any system other than the FBI data base cuz they have jurisdiction on Indian cases. Most often they are put on the back burner.

this is a strange case but has anyone checked into Rachel Marie Mellon(stemp) from boilingbrook illinois?

She came up missing January 1996 and still is missing. She was 13( birthday: oct 13, 1982) and aby the looks of her website ( http://www.rachelfind.com/Rachel1.htm ) she was very mature looking for her age. Also she has dark brown hair, hazel eyes, by looking at her picture she has "protruding jawline/teeth" . her facial structure looks the same as raymond jane doe. I understand rachel mellon disppeared three years prior to jane doe being found but nothing is to say she wasn't being kept captive before she died.

Who told you that? That must have been long ago. And I have many articles about her and her being from a foreign country was just a theory however it wasn't so much based on her teeth condition more on her general appearance and the fact they could not locate any fitting missing persons report. I think she just needs not to be rich or not well taken care of to have severe teeth decay no need to come from another country for that...

I think she's local. However I clearly see her not caucasian and definitely not on any missing person website. Olive skin and very "native" nose. The coroner and other in Wisconsin have been looking a lot for this girl. I don't think they'd have missed her online. I used to think too she could have been murdered by the same people as Mary Kate Sunderlin but I no longer think so however I really wondered if these people arrested recently (a couple months ago) in WI for torturing a disabled woman weren't involved in her death.

So, has anyone matched the DNA of the Jane Doe woman from Racine with Nylene Kay Marshall's mother in Montana?

What interested me were the letters from Madison, WI. You would think the detectives would have released the letters to the public and put them in the newspapers. That's how the Unabomber was caught, his brother recognized the handwriting and the subject matter after the Unabomber's ramblings were published.

Hello everyone. Sorry that I haven't posted or replied in quite some time. I have been very busy, mostly searching for an identity for Racine County Jane Doe, creating a myspace page for her, here's the address if you would like to take a look, let me know what you think (http://www.myspace.com/racinecountyjanedoe) and my husband and I recently took a vacation to Vegas (SO HOT!!!)

Anyways, as far as Nyleen Kay Marshall goes, her eyes are blue, but everything else about the investigation still leads me to believe that Nyleen could be Jane Doe. There is a possibility that the coroner didn't mention that Jane Doe's eyes were maybe of a green/blue hazel versus green/brown hazel. My niece has green/blue hazel eyes--more of a varation of hues with blues and greens. Sometimes in the right lighting they look blue and other times they look green.

I am not sure if law enforcement here as ever contacted offiicials concerning Nyleen as a possible match for Racine Jane Doe. But I did contact the lead investigator about one match, and what a match it was--at least I thought it was. I copied and pasted below my original email to the detective--

I know Myriam is a little older than Jane Doe was first thought to be, and the height is a little shorter than stated but I know that can't always be a determining factor when matching. I think the first description described Jane Doe as being 18-35, then I think I read she was between the ages of 13-25. So Myriam does fit into the ages described. I wasn't sure which investigator/detective to send this to, so I sent it to the both of you.

I hope this is her, not that I want to wish anybody dead. But it would be nice to give the girl a name and maybe catch the monster that did this to her. If this is not her, I am going to continue my search for her. Please contact me if this is a match.

I emailed this to the investigator a week or so prior to my vacation and when I returned home just last week, there was a reply in my inbox from the investigator. Unfortunately, Jane Doe is not Myriam. At one time or another and I am not sure how long ago this was, the investigating officials also thought Jane doe was Myraim, but DNA did not make a match.

I had also sent an email to Doenetwork the same time that I sent an email to investigators in Racine but Doenetwork has not replied to the email.

So back to the drawing board. I will continue to search for her until I have viewed every single missing persons pic on the internet--it just gets so frustrating!!

Any news on whether Doreen Vincent has been submitted as a possible match?
