One is already known -Lisa Pate.
The other three were all known to
associate with BSL
All 4 died in a 3 month period.

2 perhaps the same day!
(June 19) or (July 3rd)
depending on what day Lisa pate died.
I'm thinking July 3rd as LE stated.

It may become significant.

I saved bessie's spreadsheets in the TX killing fields forum & saw she includes date and location found as you suggest. She, also, includes cause of death and/or condition of remains. Considering that data, one would probably exclude Kirsten Brydum due to COD being gunshot wounds to the head. So far, none of BSL's crimes appear to involve guns. I think that data is very helpful. I didn't include the additional info on the post since it makes the report too wide & blows margins but I have kept it as it's been gathered. And can be attached instead of embedded like bessie's in the killing fields forum.

There was a 15 year age difference between BSL & LP in 1999 so might review & consider up to 50 yrs old for his 2008+ potential victims. I think its better to include broadly on the age or am I just hoping 50 is still considered young.

On 06/10/2002 a caller to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office reported having found a deceased female at the property located at 132 Jenkins Road in Alexandria, La. The victim was last seen at the "Stick" lounge located on Mac Arthur Drive in Alexandria, in the company of an unknown white male. A sketch was made of the white male who was with the victim at the lounge. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 318-443-7867 or Sgt. Steven Reed with the Cold Case Unit at 318-641-6000.

BTW, I updated the info on BSL's incarceration in the OP. I'd love to know if he was actually behind bars the entire eight years. I have a long list of missing/murdered in Texas, but the dates don't fit his timeline.

Jessica Hawk doesn't fit the time line either, now that I review the new additions to the list. She was found on a Monday Aug 11, 2008. I recorded a LKA date of August 6 but am unable to verify that. (Very well may have been I can't count on my fingers right.) I find several references that she was probably killed Friday or Saturday, but if LKA was Thursday, that would have been August 7. Either date would have been prior to BSL's release, unless it was Saturday Aug 9, the date of his release.

It took me awhile, but I finally found the Times Picayune article which says she was last seen Friday, (August 8, 2008), by Dr Bob, the guy who provided the description for the sketch. He claims that after he chased away the peeper on Friday, he warned Jessica about him.

The discovery came after a peculiar Friday night incident that rattled a neighbor.

Shaffer was able to scare the man away with a bright spotlight and later warned Hawk.

I think it's very likely that he was given special privileges while in jail that allowed him out and possibly unsupervised. The fact that A.C.I. has information showing that BSL registered a car in 2003 (when he should have been behind bars and unable too) just makes me more sure of this. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can find out of this is, in fact, true? I'm been searching and searching for records online that might give that information to no avail. You would think that his records would have to indicate this in some way?

I don't know why he would purchase a car while in prison. Unless there was a reason within the family to transfer the car into his name. Who knows, but it could have been done from inside because notaries do provide services to inmates.

I DO think it is possible that BL has other victims; just not sold on the idea he was able to find and murder victims while he was serving time.

I am most interested in Ali Lowitzer; her disappearance seems to fit, if it is ever known that he was in the area on that day in April 2 years ago. His probation would have ended that January, IIRC, and he may have been free to do more "traveling" than usual.

I finally found an article on BSL's uncle. It's only $1.95... I may pay for it just to see what else it says... I haven't decided yet.
It looks like it might not even be there anymore.

This speculation about the Mustang is bothering me, so I just have to speak up. Many people finance their vehicles rather than buying them outright, which means that the bank holds the title until the car is paid off. I suspect he bought the car prior to incarceration and paid it off while in prison at which time the title was transferred to him.

I just thanked your post in the other thread, fittzi. It makes a lot of sense.

That could be... Maybe the wife took the car finished paying it off,
the title was sent to him, then transferred to her?
IDK could be something like that.
I do know that the assault in Feb. 1999 was over him wanting
"his" truckback. ~not sure how a Mustang fits in.

He was arrested in Feb 1999.
If he did the 1/3 of his sentence as has been suspected by some,
me included, that could put him on supervised parole by Aug 2003.
Not sure how much financing is done on a 14 yr old car though...:waitasec:

I don't think BSL would have gone north to the Alexandria area from Leesville to get to Churchpoint. I also don't think the sketch looks like him either.
