In addition to video surveillance evidence and items recovered from the Krupp home, a history of problems between Krupp and Morris led investigators to suspect Krupp as the arsonist... Krupp believed Morris had informed officers of her son’s whereabouts and that Morris was ultimately to blame for his incarceration, according to court documents.

On Nov. 12, Morris reported vandalism to his vehicle while it was parked outside his home.

Days after discovering that his car had been damaged by an egg, Morris discovered a significant engine problem, court papers indicate. A mechanic informed Morris that sugar and water was put into the fuel tank. A substance that appeared to be caramel was found around the gas cap and damage was estimated at just under $3,000, according to police.

The past three months have been an emotional roller coaster for Limerick Township police detective Ernie Morris and his family. They are still living in temporary housing, but the community had rallied around them. "To this date, we've had at least 600 people that have reached out in some way," said Det. Morris, who has been with the department 18 years. "I'll never be able to thank everybody as much as I wish I really could"...

The family was vacationing at Walt Disney World in Florida when he received a call from his partner that his home was on fire. "I could hear it in his voice how much it was hurting him to make the call," said Morris, who added the family rushed home immediately to the ruins on Commons Drive... The home has been torn down, and the family was able to salvage only a few items. Morris said he never imagined someone would set his house on fire for doing a job he was sworn to do...

Krupp is due in court next month. She remains locked up in the Montgomery County Prison on $1 million bail.

This is an excellent example of why I disapprove of many Pennsylvania municipalities requiring police officers to live within the townships that employ them.

All over her son's traffic violation. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?????????

This caught my attention.

Krupp believed that Morris had been involved in notifying police of the whereabouts of her son so that he could be arrested, according to authorities. She was then told not to have any contact with Morris, which she defied, according to police.

Among the many “likes” on Krupp’s Facebook page, is a page titled “if you hurt my son, I’ll make your death look like an accident.”

On Nov. 12, Morris reported vandalism to his vehicle while it was parked outside his home.

Days after discovering that his car had been damaged by an egg, Morris discovered a significant engine problem. A mechanic informed Morris that sugar and water was put into the fuel tank. A substance that appeared to be caramel was found around the gas cap and damage was estimated just under $3,000, according to police.

The police who arrested Joshua Beauseigneur, had been target of vandalism.
