It was my understanding that HHJP ruled that all attorneys must be present at 8:30, so they could address anything that needed to be addressed and get the trial started promptly by 9:00 for the jury. :twocents:
 
Late Start, Again with ALL lawyers going through the door.
 
Ok all the DT including Slaubaugh, Sims, and Fryer - and JB and CM just went through the door that ICA usually comes out of.
 
Now the entire defense team going in the back room! What's up?

Only if there is an issue to be discussed beforehand like the motion filed yesterday that is why HJBP told the attorney's to be there by 8:30am to take care of it before it's time to bring the jury in. Court still starts at 9:00am.
 
The entire defense table, all half dozen or so of them, just went back into the hallway. Think something is up?
 
Tweets are saying both sides just filed back to talk to the judge outside of the courtroom

It's NOT a late start - yet.

They are reporting at 8:30 to get business out of the way. Court begins at 9:00

The VT motion is being discussed is my bet.
