I think they should have dragged her sorry a$$ down to the morgue and made her identify her child!

O/T - I read 1/2 that book. Never finished it. I felt patronized and talked down too. I really didn't find any comfort there. Just my opinion - other family members have enjoyed the book and they all recommend it.

The amount of time she COULD get on each charge is sickening!
261 months for human trafficing
98 months for child abuse-prostitution
2 months for resisting an officer
2 months for filing a faulse police report.

Then the woman making a limited appearance on this case tries to waive the formal reading. Why so the media doesn't hear what we all know she is guilty of doing to her child?

SICK!!!


If this woman gets no other charges thrown at her she could face AT MOST 30 years and 4 months in prison FOR SELLING HER DAUGHTER INTO PROSTITUTION!

Yes she is pregnant by CC but they need to give that child to a loving home and take everything out of AD body that would allow her to have children because that crackhead don't deserve to have babies at all! I am mad as heck about this mess! Justice for Shaniya!

Reminded me of when CA was brought in and her charges were read to her. It seemed like her lip quivered also, thinking about JUST herself.

I also noticed how the guard kept staring into her eyes with disgust. He probably sees these types of people all of the time. So why can't something more be done?

That woman had been told what, about an hour or so before, that they had found her Daughter's body. Did anyone notice anything that made her look like she had been crying? She stood there and omg...............there are no words.

Can't they also pin some sort of 3rd degree murder charges on her as well?

I think this country would be a better place if TV networks spent more time exposing these horrors among us and their viewers invested as much interest in all these innocent victims as they do into who gets kicked off the island or becomes the next hit singer. :no:

They would have to roll me in on a stretcher while I screamed at them to shoot me now because my baby is dead and I caused it.

And I don't have children.

That guard scares me LOL He looks like he would like to have a reason to put her out of her misery. Eerily calm just chewing that gum, chewing that gum...

Same.

So this pitful excuse for a mother gets a court appointed public defender and yet poor little defenceless Shaniya had no one to defend her. Sickening!

I think it would depend on how much she knew. I think they might be able to stick her with something like facilitating a murder/facilitation of first degree murder, since she knowingly handed her daughter off for harm even though that harm may have not been murder to her knowledge. But none of these charges would carry a life sentance. or even come close to a death sentance.

She will be walking the streets one of these days unless she actually killed this little girl which I highly doubt!
