Investigators say Arun Jayachandran had been in the city for an International Training work program and was last seen leaving the Atlanta Renaissance Concourse Hotel near the airport on June 28.

Police said the 27-year-old has not been seen since and is not familiar with the city.

The hotel is right next to the airport. Jump on shuttle and 5 minutes you are there. Very difficult to get lost if you are going to the airport.

Was he there with anyone? Colleagues or coworkers? When was the program supposed to end?

You would think this area would have plenty of CCTV. I wonder if it actually does and whether or not anything of interest was seen on it.

Maybe he chose to go missing?
I thought the same thing. The article doesn't say who reported him missing or why. That would be good to know.

I attempted to get information on the program but haven't as yet.
There is an international event being held at that hotel however; the date is not until the 21st. Is it possible he made plans for the wrong week?

That could be possible.

This might be a long shot, but close to the hotel is an international training program called FlightSafety International. They train crew members for various aircraft. They have discounted rates for the hotel Arun was seen, as well as other hotels. I thought it strange how it was worded in the article regarding "an international training program".
