I never quite understood why a young lad who liked to socialise and party would spend an hour in the car outside Waitrose talking to his brother about plans for the following weekend.

As others have said, this revelation would explain a lot! Even if all April had done was tell Corrie she was 'late' at that point, it would make perfect sense that he talked to his brother about his worries/excitement/whatever in the car and then went into town to get ***** faced.

Was his last text in Hughes doorway to her then? Who knows.

We didn't know the half of it and I fear we still don't.

I think they decided to keep it quiet from the outset as the stress on the girl may have given her a misscarriage. They probably thought its best to keep it all quiet, say he was single until the girl had the scans and everything was ok. Dont blame them for doing this at all.

I wouldn't blame them either but I'm not quite comfortable with the lying that would entail.

I'm not family bashing but as a general point if you have a huge public wave of support I think you owe it to them to be truthful and by that I don't mean tell the whole truth but only tell the truth

The Forces TV site answers some of the questions posed with their more in depth interview.

http://forces.tv/48204375?utm_source=websleuths.com&utm_medium=referral

Apparently it was "quite casual" when they started seeing each other. They were both "seeing other people" when they began seeing each other.

They last saw each other "near enough the same week that he had gone missing".

It was "a couple of weeks after" April returned to the UK that she found out she was pregnant.

From what it sounds like, it appears Corrie had no knowledge that his girlfriend of five months was pregnant, at the time of his disappearance.

The only thing I can think at this moment in time is, did Corrie see the relationship as seriously as April appears to?
He has been described as "single and happy" previously. And I think it has also been noted that he was on dating site(s).

That's the point I am making. You can't. But the driver could fill in the gaps but we are only given general information. We are given 4 am BSE and 4:30 am BM. So the slowest you could go is constantly moving, for 12 miles roughly for 30 minutes. too slow for a truck, too fast for walking. But we don't know if there was actually 20 minutes or if stops were made, or if there were cows in the road, etc. The driver could explain it all. And of course there might be actual data for when the phone reached cell sites and lost others. The police have no obligation to share, but just to say it moved from point A to point B in 30 minutes too fast for walking, leaves a universe of possibilities. Why do they leave it so ambiguous? The driver can clear it all up nicely. And then they could say we are convince it was or was not in the lorry. end of story.

If they can say without equivocation it was NOT in the lorry, then that changes everything.

Just reading through the posts and I'm currently 22h behind so if there's anymore news on this item or the pregnancy item...I apologise in advance.
With regards to the PHONE movements, as we know, they could be/or are totally separate from CORRIE'S movements. Both myself and Pilgrim spent a great deal of time and effort with the valued help of others to prove or disprove the theories. I for one am still working on it and my thirst for accuracy will NOT abate. We both share inside knowledge so no matter how much scorn is poured onto suggestions...ours are based on useable skill sets and experience.
I am still personally of the opinion that if a member of the family, LE or other ambassador in office comes out with such seemingly accurate figures like '28 minutes from BSE to BM' or 'one and a half minutes behind the bin lorry's movements' then there MUST be some intelligent base to their statements. Why do I say that? Because 'half an hour' or 'about five minutes' are usually the sound bites of ignorant (truest definition) people and NOT 28 mins/1 1/2 mins behind. These figures, along with other technical data have been combined to create fairly accurate diagrams. If I didn't believe it, I wouldn't post it.
As always I'm open to constructive comments but please newbies, can at least skim through the Timeline so we don't repeat answers and questions. Cheers!

You really expect people not to comment on this? It is a reason for all that C did on that Fri/Sat and is completely relevant to everything since IMHO. TW q & a is forgotten in an instance. This is much more relevant and there will be 90k more questions to come. You cannot keep the lid on forever.

I agree, plus if we're not viewing this information to form an opinion or theory, and viewing subsequent information and using it to support our theories, then why are we here? x <3

Here here. Fresh eyes and ideas are always welcome, but please do read the months of hard work undertaken to get to the statements made most recently.

So if they were both seeing other people and she saw C in the week he went missing...Then maybe her boyfriend found out and came looking for him

How dis she know that he was missing and not just out on a jolly?
If you read the news report and watch the forces video she states that the raf lads contacted her.
I would presume they told her, she did say she was contacted on the monday.

A week or so back I took the stance that he had gone AWOL and I still am half thinking that.

I have just watched the forces video and it was stated that the RAF lads contacted April about Corrie missing. If Nicola knew about April would she not contact her? I suspect Nicola never knew about April.

She was away wasn't she? This could have been his first weekend off since finding out. Will be awful if he has just had an accident on the way home after celebrating that news.
Absolutely awful outcome if so. Yes on holiday in America.

I'd guess they would have actually contacted his girlfriend first before his mum.
