Essentially no new information. New guy was giving it, the undersheriff. He talked around or said he "wasn't aware of" whatever most questions were about. Highlights I remember off the top of my head:

-The woman's car was found when they executed the search warrant on their Reno house, but due to a "miscommunication", a bolo went out anyway
-He is not aware of any video found in the room relating to the motives of the shooter (the way the question was asked made it seem as if the reporter knew something and was prodding)
-He is not aware of someone other than SP having been in his room
-He is not aware of someone entering his room while his car was missing from the garage
-Tannerite was both mixed and unmixed; when asked if it was potentially being used as an IED, his response was "It was in the state it was" (more or less) and moved on...
-If you've seen something in the last days, weeks, years, say something.
 
I doubt it. The casinos are watching every nook & cranny always. Not only are there cameras, there's security everywhere dressed in business attire.

I agree, normal people can't think like psychopaths/killers and there could be more than one influence that made him do what he did. I think something definitely did trigger him off though and like you said he could have been planning this since last year or even longer ago than that.
What you said about thier frontal lobes being different to those of normal people is interesting, it makes me question if some people are just born more predisposed to become psychopaths or If it is completely down to nurturing.
Perhaps we will never know what triggered him but I was also thinking if he was planning this from last year , it would co incide with Donald Trump coming into power. I could be totally off the mark but if he could of had a political agenda.
 
I still wonder if SP wasn't in the beginning stages of something like Lew Body Dementia- some of his symptoms and
erratic behaviors would certainly fit.
One of first symptoms noticed by the caretaker (gf) is sleep problems, hallucinations, mood changes, acting out their dreams, behavioral changes.
this could be what MD witnessed when he was moaning and screaming in bed.
With LBD, depression is common. Physical, cognitive and behavioral changes occur and onset is rapid and acute.
Interestingly benzodiazepine is to be avoided as it can cause acute confusion, delusions and hallucinations.
Caretakers will also notice REM sleep disorder, with violent movements.
Rapid onset with rapid cognitive and physical decline in first few months.

Maybe SP knew something was going on within his brain and body. Anger and depression took over.
Would certainly explain the rapid mental decline.
If anyone wants to read more, this disease is fascinating.
If I were a gambler, this is where I'd put my money on a diagnosis.
I believe robin Williams was diagnosed upon autopsy of LBD.

it couldnt be and the articles all say a 2017, it had to be a high very high mile demo maybe? or trade in is all I can think, funny how some rich people are cheap, like it was with his hookers lol

Right! Or for his cameras? Not sure if they plugged in or were charged like a go-pro. I hate when I have to charge my portable battery or camera because I can never find the correct cord.... it could be a number of things or have no significance at all.

That is interesting, and quite shocking how an illness can change someone's personality so drastically.
I hope they examine his brain during autopsy, if they do one.

I had a friend who's husband had this and his decline was very quick, like weekly noticeable changes. And her husband was a highly educated, smart, capable man and she said the way he went downhill mentally at first was
unbelievable. In the beginning she said he would get so upset and angry because he realized something serious
was happening to him and it was out of his control to fix it. Could be wh SP sent MD away, if he knew he was sliding
downhill.
Apparently if not in a controlled environment, the person with LBD acts upon their violent dreams and delusional
hallucinations. Scarey to think these people are out there in society everyday.

Is there any reason why brains that are donated to science/research would be turned away? I have no idea if they are or are not but I wish that these types were on the ‘must or priority research list.

Interesting. Would such a person with this disease be able to pull off such precise, intricate, seeming long-range planning and carry it all out if they were easily confused and befuddled?

There is nothing written online by any news publishers that cant be found elsewhere. In fact at times I become aggravated at times at how so many supposedly MSM reputable news organizations do nothing but copy and paste AP news reports.

The very ones you have listed may be the very ones many others find untrustworthy. It is a matter of choice for the individual reader as it should be. So for now, I do not have any need to go through a pay wall in order to read what has been printed. I am what is called a news junkie and have never been shut out from finding the information I wanted to read and I have never had to resort to paying for it.

Should that time come, I will select the one, I feel is the most trustworthy among all of the rest. When an article is linked here, and is behind a pay wall, I simply search for the information elsewhere, and have no problems finding it. In fact many of the other sites can reveal even more detailed information than what was supposedly in the pay wall news site.

I gave that information, not to argue with you about the legitimacy of news sources (which is OT and something I have no interest in doing), but rather so that people can be aware of the discounts available. I personally don't care what you choose to read, but knowing the options is important for some. And others may not realize the reason for pay walls. This is exactly how I found out I could afford a subscriber to the WP, when someone was kind enough to give me this information. Hopefully I have helped someone else who is struggling to access articles.

It eases muscle spasms, as well anxiety. I just don't know why a doctor would prescribe 10mg dosage if smaller dosages hadn't been tried first....

I have never used Valium but I have used other drugs in this class and I thought the same thing, that it seemed like a very high dose.

Sometimes, in an effort to save the patient some money, doctors will prescribe a higher dose with the understanding that the patient will cut the table in half. My husband has had this with his cholesterol and BP meds. And Valium is an easily cut tablet. Just a thought...
