Michelle Parker case: Lawsuit against suspect to proceed

The lawsuit brought by Michelle Parker's family against her ex-fiancé Dale Wayne Smith, the main suspect in her disappearance, will go forward, after a judge Wednesday denied his requests to dismiss the suit, or delay it for a year.

coming up on 3 years and I still have faith she will be located. I think of this case often and pray for her mom and family to get answers.

Orlando police use training exercise to search for Michelle Parker

The Orlando Police Department searched Friday for missing mom Michelle Parker, 33.

About 100 officers searched near Lee Vista Boulevard and Semoran Boulevard, not far from the Orlando International Airport, and just a few miles from where her ex-fiancé lived.

Yvonne Stewart, Parker's mom, said investigators searched for something very specific.

“There's some piece of evidence they're looking for,” Stewart said. “I can't tell you what it is.”

After more than three years, Orlando Police have renewed a search for the mother of three who disappeared on the same day she appeared on a TV show.

Michelle Parker vanished in 2011 after dropping off her three year old twins at the home of her ex-fiance, Dale Smith. Her mysterious case started the same day she and Smith appeared on an episode of "The People's Court," where the two bickered over the loss of a $5,000 engagement ring.
