GOLDEN MEADOW, La. -- Lafourche Parish authorities say a woman's partly nude body has been found in woods near Golden Meadow, one day after a severely beaten and partly nude woman was found in a Thibodaux cane field.

Golden Meadow to Lawtell (BSL's hometown near Church Point) is almost a three hour drive (about 170 miles). Lawtell to Thibodoaux is about a 2 hour drive (126 miles). But we know BSL got around and with working in the oil industry, may have been familiar with/often passed through those coastal areas.

HOUMA, La. - Two of the four men accused of raping, killing and dumping the body of a Galliano mother of four pleaded guilty during Friday court appearances, prosecutors said.

Esdras Garcia, 23, and Gonzalo Cortes, 22, will each sentenced to 60 years in prison in connection with the death of Angela Laudun, 33, who was raped in a vacant house, strangled and dumped in the woods off La. 3235.

Ledet offered his alleged victim a ride from the Larose Truck Stop Casino to Thibodaux in the early morning hours of May 7, authorities said. The woman left with him in a white work van.

Ledet allegedly caused severe injuries to the woman's face, arms, legs and lower torso, then “left her for dead” in a field near Greenwood Plantation and Forty Arpent Road, Webre said.

Mickey's story was on "Investigation Discovery" today. The program was awesome. I am wondering if we will learn more details about BSL once more people become aware of his crimes and his story has made its way to TV. The profile the show did on Lisa Pate was awesome too.
