I can't see how LE could completely clear a guy who hired her off of craigslist and spent 3 hours with her for her to call 911 and run screaming from his house that someone is trying to kill her. It just seems too obvious to me. It also seems obvious that it is related to the other 8 bodies which are right down the road and 4 are known to be escorts from craigslist. I think things didn't go as he planned that night and the fact that it was messed up has exposed everything. Her family should know with their grief that this has helped eight other families have closure and possibly other murders prevented.

If you look right to the east of of Coletti's house {B} there is a boat parked in that next house. That could have been the boat she hid behind as it is probably parked there most of the year, right?

I am still stuck on JB. I think she may have had a chance to call from his house without him knowing at first or she used a cell. I see NO reason for her to run panicking unless she saw something she shouldn't..perhaps trophies or a body part in the fridge for ex. LE doesn't release all that often to have for real tips vs. looky loos.
It makes no sense to me any other way. The driver should have been right outside the door for her, the way most escort services work is that you call "out" to the service to say you are leaving but the CC or cash has already been paid for x amount of hours. No girl i know of would stay without cash or cc approved unless it was really an old and trusted client of years and even then there might be a discussion about it.
So the driver knows when to return. Often they may hang in the neighborhood if they aren't driving other girls at the same time but otherwise he knows, in at 7 pm, out at 8 or 9 or whatever. If the girl doesn't call out to the service they go to the door to be sure everything is ok. I used to do the phones for a service in college. This case is just SO interesting.
And everything that comes out just seems right out of a movie.
Don't get me wrong, I feel terrible for these victims, and really want to see this serial killer get punished, but these are the cases that I've always read about way after the fact. I don't think I've ever seen something like this develop from day 1.
I hope no one takes that the wrong way, as I don't mean any disrespect to the victims.
And everything that comes out just seems right out of a movie.

this is why I tend to speculate 2 perps working together...maybe a doctor and his neighbor....I don't know what if she got there and there's 2 johns instead of the agreed upon 1 john...

These reports based on what was said to the NY Post are getting more extreme. This article says someone was arrested?? Any confirmation on this? I can't find any. The article was posted on SG's FB prayer page so her family has seen it. If it's just irresponsible reporting, I feel really sorry for the families.

Today on JVM she said there were 3 points LE has made that are all important, my wording:
* LE is zeroing in on the killer
* The bodies on LI are linked to the 4 in AC - One of the AC victims had spent considerable time immediately LI before going down to AC and her body was found the next day.
* LE says the body count will rise.
She also said they are both beach front communities about 150 miles apart.
Then she asked why is LE revealing this info now, and I never heard an answer to that question !!!

I tend to agree. JB seems like the most logical choice.
I am also troubled by the calls made from Melissa's phone. I wonder if LE was able to triangulate the origin of the calls?
And then, there's the craigslist ads themselves. Iow, does craigslist keep logs? Bc, if they do, then it seems like they might be able to correlate the email addies/ip addies of the individuals who contacted the vics wrt their last listings.
Either way you look at it, it looks like someone has been dumping vics in that area for years.
As for the AC connection? I am admittedly doubtful.
For starters, you have posed bodies and a perp who appears to have some sort of foot fetish... or maybe even shoe fetish (i.e., collecting the vics shoes as trophies). Furthermore, the women seem to have been murdered in a fairly short time span (less than a month), with their posed bodies being found shortly thereafter.
And finally, the victimology is different. For example, the AC women appear to have hooked up with their John's in the "old fashioned" sense (ala street walking). Whereas in this case the women were involved in what appears to be a high priced outcall business (i.e., $250/hour). Even having people who would drive them to their meets and hailing from as far away as Maine.
While there could be a connection, the only connection I'm seeing is that one of the AC vics visited LI. And, imho, that's a rather weak connection to rest one's case on. Then again, who really knows?
I'm not seeing any confirmation. This is coming out of Riverhead, which is odd, because it's quite a way further east from Gilgo and I'm not seeing it reported by other Riverhead press, or confirmed by any other source.

I'm pretty sure they did. I remember reading that they came from very crowded areas - one was Penn Station IIRC.
The other one was some place similar, i think.

On a more serious note, I hope they're right. Getting a killer off the streets and finding closure for the victims' families would be great.

His house was searched and his car was hauled away to be inspected.
I am sure the proper chemicals were sprayed in his house to see if blood had been cleaned up, same thing with the car.
If there had been anything suspicious, he would have been arrested by now.
The sad thing about all this, is that, even if the SK has been found, there is no proof he did anything to SG.. she is still missing and nobody knows what really happened to her.

All working girl ads have phone numbers.
Contacting someone via email is not a good idea as emails can be easily traced, unless the sender is a computer security expert or knows what they are doing.
The SK must have contacted the victims using a disposable phone, or a phone with a pay as you go SIM card.
