Kids, it's my first post here. I hope I don't create any issues. I just took the timeline someone else posted and added in a few things I had on a timeline for the Daytona Beach killings. I believe they've been discussed in the past.

Before I paste the timeline, here is what I have to add. The Daytona Beach killings all fall within a period that does not conflict with any of the disappearances in New York or New Jersey. Three of the Daytona Beach killings took place during the winter of 2005/2006. The fourth, which has been linked to the same person, took place during the winter of 2008. Both were around holidays, too.

All of the New York/Jersey killings have taken place during the spring and summer months.

If we operate on the theory that all three (New York, Jersey and Daytona Beach) are the same person, we can establish a few other theories.

1. This person is a seasonal traveler and prefers coastal communities that are also tourist destinations. This person keeps a low profile.

The person must be working or vacationing in these areas. It could be someone traveling by boat. It could be a fisherman who works different areas during different times of the year.

Now, the Daytona Beach person used a gun. That didn't happen in the other cases. This might not rule out a connection. Instead, it might indicate that the person decided to switch methods. Perhaps the person was arrested and had to surrender the weapon. Or maybe the person threw out the weapon for fear of being caught.

Has anyone checked out touristy cities along the East Coast? It might fill a few of the blanks on this timeline.

December 26, 2005
Daytona Beach police find Laquetta Gunther, a white 45-year-old woman, in an alley on Beach Street. She was a prostitute. Gunther had been shot in the head. The body was not concealed.

January 14, 2005
Police find the body of Julie Green, a white 34-year-old woman, in a ditch off a dirt road at a construction site off LPGA Boulevard in Daytona Beach, FL. She was shot in the head. The body was not concealed.

February 24, 2006
Police find the body of Iwana Patton, 35, on a dirt road off Williamson Boulevard in Daytona Beach, FL. The body was found following a “mysterious call”. The caller described the location of the body. The caller was eventually eliminated as a suspect.

6 April 2006, Jessica Morales, missing from Dorchester, MA. Described as a high-risk runaway, very petite.

Police found the body of Kim Raffo, 35, just before Thanksgiving. She was left in a drainage ditch behind a motel in Atlantic City. Hours later, police also found the bodies of Molly Jean Dilts, 20, Barbara Breidor, 42, and Tracy Ann Roberts, 23. They had been there for several weeks. Two had been strangled.

Police find the body of Stacey Gage, 30, in a wooded area near an abandoned church on Hancock Boulevard in Daytona Beach, FL. She had been missing almost a month. Gage was not a known prostitute, but she did have drug problems. Gage was last seen alive on Dec. 10, 2007.

Judy Rivers, Fairfield CT area, Saturday August 30, 2008. She is believed to be a runaway. Per the Norwalk Police Department, Judy is a ward of the State of New York who was placed in Connecticut. She left with a boyfriend and has not been seen or heard from since.

Yes, but the point of my post was just to explain to Scandi that homicidal asphyxiation does indeed include strangulation, and you don't need soft tissue to determine strangulation if the hyoid bone in the neck is damaged/broken. Nancy Grace and her Dr guest said asphyxiation can't be strangulation and that's incorrect as far as I can tell.

I wasn't saying the women were all killed that way because as you stated we don't know that yet.
