I think he was given a suspended sentence and they could only put these conditions on him for the duration of the suspended sentence, which wasn't very long. He was also ordered that he must take his medication for the duration of the sentence too.
 
Interesting, it does seem that he WAS trying to evade arrest. He tried to make it look like "Luka Magnotta" vanished in France, but he was sloppy and didn't count on surveillance cameras and people actually recognising him. These are not the actions of somebody who had no idea what he did, and could not appreciate the magnitude of it all. These are the actions of somebody who knew, absolutely, what he did and tried to (incompetently) evade authorities. He thought he was smarter than he actually is, THAT was his delusion. Life doesn't happen the way it does in the movies...

Interesting, Magnotta's biggest fan is his former "manager" (pimp?).
If this person is who he says he is, he really isn't doing Magnotta any favours.

The posters name says Jen F,i cant find where I read it at the moment,but im sure there was someone called Jennifer that had claimed to have received mail from Magnotta whilst in custody.

I think that first link was by LM himself, I remember seeing that way back when we were first sleuthing this. Could you add a "GRAPHIC CONTENT" to that, it contains a link to "The Video" and most of us here don't want to accidentally click on that. Thanks!

After a quick look I think I know who posted all of the August reports!!And I think hes also made contact with Luka,he has sent money to him,openly admitted to supporting him and apparently drove 1000+ miles to be at the prelim hearing.Goes by the name Kyle!!! The reports on ripoff are all made by someone named Kyle (but some are signed off with different name)

What a loser. He claims to be twice LM's age? So he was in his 40's when he was pimping out kids at strip clubs? I guess he's going to show up as a character reference to tell the jury how perfectly normal LM is/was? According to him LM would never hurt an animal....pffft. Where did all his pets go then JM? We know where one ended up. Not to mention a number of innocent kittens. And of course everyone around LM was the creepy perv and famewhore but not LM. Uh huh. Although the author did describe himself I guess. Maybe he shouldn't have got him into the "escort" scene in the first place since he was already diagnosed with mental issues. Of course he'd rather be known as a good guy pimp I'm sure. How did he miss out on LM's internet luring, sexual assault and fraud charges? Those happened when this guy seemed to know all about his young hooker. I also think he should reveal some of those high power names who were LM's clients. Lying liar. :notgood:

CSIS should have a watch list of people who idolize killers, support them and obsess over them. Might have been good if they'd been watching LM once his fascination with KH became apparent?

I agree with this post.

If this guy is who he says he is, not just some internet troll or random "fan", no doubt pimping out the young and unstable "Eric" made his problems worse, contributing to the "Luka" that "Eric" turned into. No, this pimp didn't cause Magnotta's problems, they existed before this started. But that type of lifestyle would no doubt be hard on anybody's mental health, let alone somebody who has mental health issues to begin with.

I am interested in hearing the defence. It should be... interesting. Heck, Leclair is already quite the interesting character. I wonder what he has up his sleeve.

That's not the actual 'Video' it's the 'trailer Video' - which is just that still shot with the same music.

I don't think it links to that video either, just a still-shot.

But the blog text is rather Graphic in detailing the 'Kitten Video'

Apparently the video of him with bleached hair saying "Hi to all my fans" was originally uploaded years ago to annoy people who hated Magnotta for his YouTube posts calling for animated show "Family Guy" to be banned.

It's been pointed out that he seems to have modelled himself on character Catharine Trammel (sp?) from "Basic Instinct" in that video. I haven't seen the movie, but her character apparently ties someone up for sex and then murders them with an icepick. And the folder on his laptop containing videos of JL's dismemberment apparently was called Catharine Trammel, iirc? And in the movie she had an ex named Manny who was a boxer?
 
I did see that movie but I have absolutely no recollection of the plot. I do remember Catherine Tramell, though.
