UID Victim: The Female Toddler, UP9704, found Gilgo Beach Apr 2011

Was the jewelry on the mother n child? I thought the mother was dismembered? Why on earth would the jewelry still be on the bodies? I had assumed the SK would clean the entire bodies to remove DNA or any trace evidence before dumping, maybe I'm wrong. I kind of think the SK put the cheap jewelry on the people as part of a ritual something. Remember the Brentwood boy with the Hands of Gold Jewelry key ring? and the Lattington Pig necklace? I think there might be a jewelry connection here somethings going on with it.

The female relative of the baby was found intact in a trash bag. We assume she was the baby's mother, but we don't know that for certain...only that they were related. I think it's important to keep that in mind, especially if we are pouring over missing persons reports in order to try to identify this child.

Can't they ascertain from DNA if it's the child mother? Are you sure that the mother wasn't dismembered? My recollection is that they only found her skull and limbs?

Mother (or close relative) of infant was found with torso and uppers. I'm inclined to believe that means no head or legs.

I just read somewhere that she was found intact. Let me see if I can retrace my steps and post that link for you.

ETA:Can't find it now. Maybe I misread. I'll just have to assume you know what you're talking about, Fieldnotes, and bow to your research. :)

The exact picture of it

According to NAMUS the child was on the Pkwy for one year. Its been 11 years. Then they listed that the gender is unknown. Hugh mistakes. The Suffolk Co police should contact them.

When you do a Google image search with the phrase "xo bracelet" you don't get a single hit before April 16th, 2008

April 15th

When you elaborate a little bit
like the search phrase
xo bracelet "gold plated" diamond

First germane hit appears around September 2008

I believe the exact model could be in the market by 2009 earliest, maybe even later.

They have been reading them at least until the time the WS made us subscribe to the thread. Subscribing to the THREAD would have narrowed down the number of viewers.

Agree with the above - that the killer(s) may have lurked around - but unfo my gut tells me that it all boils down to another missed opportunity by SCPD.

I remember the times I was surfing the internet picture by picture to identify the "jewelry" on the mom based on the original poor quality pixelated picture taken with a toaster.

http://a.abcnews.com/images/Health/ht_ll_208265_jewelry_dm_110920_ssh.jpg

Now, does SCPD want the items to be recognized or just giving the pretense that they are making something public to solve the case? My guess is the latter. If they really sought for help they would be releasing a good quality image. Doesn't matter though, now they have the information that these are items from Groupon inventory , I "know" that they "know". Did they ever bother to request records to identify the account (on the off chance that they might be sold online to a customer) which purchased both items? I don't think so.

Interesting that you bring this up. I've been in touch with NamUs and have been trying to get them to create a profile for the mother of the toddler. This has been something I've been trying to do for a few years. At first NamUs told me the detectives wouldn't sign off on putting her into their database. They didn't give a reason or if they did NamUs didn't share it with me. A couple times a year I check back with NamUs to see if anything has changed. Most recently NamUs told me that there is a new Medical Examiner and this one is insisting that ALL the Jane Does have been entered, including the mother of the Baby Doe. I told NamUs that I do not believe this is the case but asked if they could find out which Jane Doe is genetically linked to the toddler. This is where we left off and I'm waiting to hear back. Wikipedia has it that Jane Doe 3 is the mother of baby while Lost Girls has the Manorville 2000 victim as the mother. None of the NamUs profiles show the picture of the jewelry if one of them is the mother - which they can't be anyway because the dates don't line up. I'm really wondering if they misplaced the remains of this victim or the new ME is just very confused and not up on this case but something is not right.

This is the toddler's page.
https://identifyus.org/cases/9704

It reads
SEX: Unsure

I checked the posts, and on September 2014 it was that way. What is so hard to figure whether a toddler's skeleton is male or female, I wouldn't know.

I've been in contact with Namus for nearly a year, just to get a DNA sample for Tirrel Santiago to be collected. No success so far. What is the reason they have such a lazy feet to put a DNA sample for a missing kid, I wouldn't know. I'm relentless tho, I will keep sending them my quarterly messages.

Funniest part of the story is Dormer as usual. He says the jewelries are junk and he says they've asked Tiffany's to recognize them.... Because you know, if a sex worker is wearing junk, best places to consult are Tiffany's and Cartier's and stuff.

There was this story LindsayLohan6 brought up. It talks about an 18 month baby. I don't know what happened to the mom and the baby

I wonder if this John Bittrolff murder more than these 2, wonder if there is more people in the New York area that he murdered
DNA connects Bittrolff to two women. He is a suspect in the killing of a third woman. I find it hard to believe he stopped at three.

Hi Rachel & Josh here, some of you may have read we are partnering with Tricia & Websleuths on a docu-series covering 5 unsolved serial killer cases. LISK is one of them and we would like to work with websleuthers in helping to identify the Jane, John, and Toddler Does connected to the case. We definitely understand there's been a lot of time and energy put into this already by websleuthers and the community, we're hoping to inject new energy into identifying. We will have a access to wide television audience who in additional can hopefully help.

I'll be posting to the threads for the other identified, please don't be shy... contact us. We are looking for some lead websleuthers to work with us as well, please reach out. Already we've heard from a lot of you on LISK and other cases. It takes a village!

Best,
Rachel & Josh
