Samantha Baldwin, 42, was reported missing on Monday (March 27) along with her two sons, nine-year-old Louis Madge and six-year-old Dylan Madge.

She was last seen in Nottingham city centre. It is believed the three are together and officers who are concerned for their welfare have appealed to her to get in touch.

Samantha is described as 5ft 7in tall, of a slim build, with shoulder-length, highlighted blonde hair and green/blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red knee-length coat from Mango but may have changed her clothing since.

Louis is described as having collar-length straight fair hair, a fair complexion and blue eyes, while Dylan is described as having collar-length straight dark brown hair, a tanned complexion and brown eyes. Officers do not have a description of the clothing the boys were last seen wearing.

Its odd she and the children have remained missing for so long now, but must she have help, that I am certain of, question is, if so many people are willing to support her and people are also willing to help her hide, at the risk of facing criminal charges themselves, there must be a very good reason.
I feel this is the secret courts at it again and this woman feels penalized. I just hope she and her kids are somewhere safe and being well looked after.

Just saw a very disturbing post about this on SM. From that post, it doesn't seem as if SHE is the danger to her kids at all :|
Don't know what to believe.

Have any arrests been made?

Two women had been arrested in connection with the missing mum on Thursday, March 30. A 62-year-old and 36-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both have been released on police bail.

I wonder if this was released to scare the other people who are helping her and make them realise the risks

I have read similar on another forum.

Still can't see how they are managing for money without leaving any kind of trail but the Easter holidays for a lo of school already will make it very easy for them to go about without raising any suspicion.

I hope they are holed up in a holiday cottage somewhere rather than the sad outcome that there often is in these type of cases.

Still surprised at how low profile it is, if the police really thought the children were at risk I'd have thought they'd be asking for mroe help to find them

Samantha Baldwin has been bailed today in connection with the abduction of her two boys.

During the early hours of this morning, the 40-year-old and her children – Dylan Madge, six, and Louis Madge, nine – were found at the Sherwood Hideaway woodland retreat - just 15 miles from her home in Newark.

I don't know what was said on SM but it sounds very much like the Rebecca Minnock case:

https://www.judiciary.gov.uk/judgme...nnock-and-ethan-freeman-williams-2-judgments/

It's easy for a parent to disappear and then start a whispering campaign against their ex on social media but any claims will likely have been carefully considered by the courts.

Further details have been reported:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-39558863

Judge Lea said: "In my judgement I found that the father had not perpetrated sexual, physical or emotional abuse against the boys as alleged by the mother, or at all, that the allegations made by the mother were false.

"I also found that the mother genuinely believed that he had done so, but that her belief was irrational and that the evidence of abuse was unreliable.

"I also made a finding that in order to try to prove her case against the father, the mother had caused the boys to ingest substances that would give rise to a positive testing for benzodiazepine products and zolpidem".
