Relatives said Ted Magnus, who is in his 50s, was last seen on Apr. 17 leaving his home in a red Chevy Blazer. Magnus reportedly uses a cane.

Theodore (Ted) Fredrick Magnus was last seen around noon on April 17, 2017. Family reported him missing on April 21.

Magnus is described as standing 6 feet tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He walks with the use of a cane and officials say he generally wears a cowboy hat.

He was last seen driving a red 1997 Ford Explorer with N.C. tags CKM-5654.

MADISON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) The Madison County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing man.
Theodore (Ted) Fredrick Magnus was last seen around noon on April 17, 2017. Family reported him missing on April 21.
Magnus is described as standing 6 feet tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He walks with the use of a cane and officials say he generally wears a cowboy hat.
He was last seen driving a red 1997 Ford Explorer with N.C. tags CKM-5654.
Anyone with any information regarding Magnus' whereabouts is asked to contact the Madison County Sheriff's Office at 828-649-2721.

I believe I can share this since it's the Madison County Sheriff's Dept Facebook--from Ted's sister:

My brother, Ted Magnus, who lived here 1973-1981, has died. He was 55. The Madison County (North Carolina) sheriff found my brother's body in his car off the side of the Blue Ridge Parkway. There was no evidence of foul play, just an accident. Plans for a memorial service are pending
