It states that LE won't confirm whether CN is also a POI. Maybe they mainly want DP & are leaning on CN to give evidence against him. Or, LE may not know yet how involved CN is.

JP was a nice guy, a family man, who made a mistake and paid with his life. His brother firefighters want to bring him home and bury him with honor and allow his family to move on. It was good to hear that the Bangor forensics lab is working overtime to get some answers. I hope he is found quickly.

I was watching CNN just a minutes ago and this story came on, first I had heard of it. Being a nosey WS'r (ha), I immediately logged on here and 'got the scoop' and of course I wasn't disappointed, thank you guys!! I totally agree that this story stinks to high heaven- he was definitely up to something. Helping one's friends move is fine, everyone does that at some point, but NO ONE drives from FLORIDA to MAINE to help a friend move!! No way. I agree that the wife didn't seem upset at all... maybe he is alive and she knows it??

Just recently found this thread and took a bit to get caught up to speed. I really don't know what to think about the wife. I get the feeling that she knows something, just don't know what. I think the girlfriend business is just a cover for why he was there and I think the wife knows that. She doesn't believe for one second that he was having an affair IMO. I don't believe she knows details and I believe that's because she didn't want to know. I hope Jerry is found safe but it sure doesn't look good.

"A close friend of Perdomo's told WFTV reporter Bianca Castro that he knows what happened.

"He said, 'If I go up there, I can make a killing," said Perdomo's friend, who did not want to be identified.

Perdomo's friend confirmed to WFTV details only close friends and family of Perdomo would know.

He said Perdomo went to Bangor to sell prescription pills and had made the trip before. He also said Perdomo mentioned the only person of interest's name, Daniel Porter, just weeks before his trip.

"He said a buddy of his called him from up north, named Daniel," said Perdomo's friend.

He also said Perdomo often carried a gun in his car and likely took that gun with him to Maine."

I think he means a killing in drug $.

Thanks for posting this. I'm not a body language specialist by any stretch of the imagination but something is way off with this woman, way off. That had to be one of the strangest "press conferences" that I've ever seen.

Completely OT - but in the background of the body expert segment - the person behind the glass in the other room looked for a hot second like they were nekkid! I 'bout spit out my tea!

Hope this case comes to a swift conclusion for the sake of the man's children, if nothing else.
