These sweet girls. Mom is still in the hospital from giving birth to Genesis. I'm praying they are safe and found quickly.

It's not looking good for these babies, imo. Article has been updated with father's vehicle information:

Detectives said late Friday night that the vehicle Tillman Freeman was driving earlier Friday is a dark green 1993 Toyota Camry with a North Carolina license plate of EJX-8711. Anyone with information concerning this vehicle or its whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crimestoppers

I'm confused? Did he just walk out of the hospital with the baby? When did police arrest him and where was his vehicle at the time of arrest? There is so little information here.......:(

Freeman and the children’s mother had been involved in a domestic incident. When the mother went to the hospital for an unrelated matter, police believe, Freeman left with the children. Police and the children’s mother don’t know where they are.

Police believe Freeman was driving a dark green 1993 Toyota Camry on Friday, but when they arrested him in Raeford, the car was nowhere to be found.

The car had license plate EJX-8711.

So the mother and father were involved in a domestic incident which turned into a trip to the hospital for mom and Freeman leaving with the children.............. Does that sound right?

It never ceases to amaze and sicken me when this happens. Those poor children.

I'm not sure this went down quite the way it's written. I think Mom might know more. Think Mom might have gone back to hospital AFTER something bad happened. My days of thinking a mother wouldn't hurt her babies is long gone.

RIP you beautiful little girls :tears:

It appeared that the children were stabbed multiple times there with a hunting or survivalist-type knife, Peterkin said.

The girls’ deaths appear to stem from a conflict on Friday between Freeman and their mother, whose name has not been released.

Freeman made comments that he thought his wife had been seeing another man and that the children were not his, Peterkin said.

MAN CHARGED WITH MURDERING 2 YOUNG FAYETTEVILLE CHILDREN GOES BEFORE JUDGE

Monday, March 27, 2017 01:07PM
RAEFORD, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A man who allegedly stabbed a 2-year-old and 4-day-old child to death after accusing his wife of having an affair went before a judge in Raeford Monday morning.

Tillman Freeman was escorted into the Hoke County Courthouse under heavy guard. He was wearing a bulletproof vest. Officials said there have been threats against his life.

No cameras were allowed in the hearing where the charges were read.

Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin said the 30-year-old argued with the children's mother Friday while she was in the hospital recovering from giving birth. He allegedly took Genesis and Serenity Freeman to a wooded area near N.C. Highway 211 and Army Road in the Raeford area and stabbed them multiple times.

"From what our investigation's telling us, they had a dispute, where (Freeman) allegedly made accusations about the babies not being his, a child not being his or maybe her involvement with someone, and when he took the kids we understand he left in a rage," Peterkin told ABC11.

Freeman is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Does North Carolina have the death penalty?
