And RH complaining about how hot the fully air conditioned cop car was just shortly after pulling his baby out of his own hot car. I just can't get passed that. The case is so compelling that I wouldn't be surprised if there is a verdict today or early tomorrow.

Agreed. The State went above and beyond the call of duty. Guilty on all counts.

I think it was MzOpinion8ed that predicted they would all go in, vote guilty, then spend a couple of hours killing time so it looks like they discussed it. I think that is a likely scenario.

LOL< look at the way you are wording it. Using chicken out and 'all he had to do'...etc

We don't know that he chickened out--maybe, maybe not. But it was said that the friends sped away because a car wanted to pull out, so he could not have said 'hey wait a sec' even if he wanted to. The only way it would have worked is if his friends were still nearby long enough of him to 'find' his son and put on a believable show of shock and remorse.

Ross to friends in car after seeing another car might ruin his carefully laid plans-- hey, dudes, about that movie tonight......friends pull up so other car can exit......

It's not really that complicated a thing to pull off by a sociopathic child killer. ;)

Something tells me Boring hit it out of the park. Focused. Sincere. Great job

I totally see now, why he was so casual and understated in his first portion. He waited until he could give his final presentation to bring in the passion and emotions for the closing.

Thought I would post this link which describes just what happens to a body when suffering from "Heat Stroke" or Heat Exhaustion". Given Cooper's size and weight..and amount of fluid loss without replenishing should be clear. He would have pretty quickly become unconscious and confused very quickly ( within an hour or so) and leads me to believe this little tyke was likely dead by lunchtime.

Maybe he needed to check it out before he asked them to wait? It would be a total disaster if his child was horribly injured, and not yet gone. He needed to know for sure before he screamed out for attention.

The Judges staff attorney is going over the final jury instructions with each side. (what the Judge said prior to them being dismissed)

Thanks! After awhile I start to wonder if my computer is being dumb and just not streaming anymore!

I think the fact that so many of his actions have to be explained for him....should give anyone pause. When you have to but, but, but for every action to make them appear innocent, perhaps they are simply guilty.

Oh for goodness sake, go back and watch the testimony. He TYPED that into the toolbar. You can be "done" and superior about your "facts," but it does not make it not there for the listening. It was TYPED.

Correct. Testimony of Ray Yeager IT specialist

are we officially on verdict watch?

Yes, or he wanted to ensure that Cooper was still in there and hadn't been discovered. He could have potentially seen him through the front winshield, being that the carseat was reclined, and he was looking for it. RH approached the vehicle straight on, through the front.

IMO, regardless of why he went to his vehicle it was unusual for him to go to his vehicle AND he tosses the light bulbs in AND he pauses when someone else is near the vehicle. Heck, even if you don't believe he glanced back, who is to say he wasn't using the selfie camera to view behind him?

We just don't know, and RH sure as heck isn't willing to talk in order to clear anything up.

Hope4More does your head hurt yet? :banghead:

Anyway, wonder how long they will go? Will they be sequestered? Will they still have half day tomorrow for Election day? Guess all depends on what their first vote its... JMHO

This thread is getting long. I have created a sidebar thread to hang out in while we await the jury deliberation.

Start to head on over there please. This thread will close in a few.

Post of the day.

I don't think so. I think the jury will have similar discussions as we have here....though they have to consider "reasonable doubt" in their verdicts. I think "reasonable doubt" will rule out the most serious charge, and I think the jury will hit Ross with all the other charges.

I will be shocked with any other outcome, to be honest!

Kinda a competing narrative with the one saying Ross was an expert on hot car deaths, and had watched a vet video saying living things in a hot car die very very rapidly and so had no reason at all to think Cooper could possibly be alive.
