TKS S1 E5: "Different Seasons"

(I'm at the part where they just showed Bessie's Avatar, how cool! Janis in the house!

:yourock: )

I don't see ep. 5 or 6 on A&E using my roku. I've also downloaded the A&E app on my phobe but when I try to play the episode I get a, "video failed to upload. Try again." message I've had to endure 3 Roku and 1 Viagra ad trying to "try again."

Any suggestions?

I still think the LISK is John Bittrolff. Also, I read a book years ago that profiled serial killer long haul truckers, why did it take the FBI until 2009 to catch on and create a map of victims?

I can't watch it :( I have watched all the others then went to watch these two online and it's asking me to log in... but I can't :( Anyone know if it will eventually be available without sign in?

I'm watching it on A&E and not registered. When I click on the episode I want, the next page gives me an option to click my provider from a list (Xfinity) then it automatically signs me in through that without registering.

Impressed that Rachel and Josh got a tip to LE during this episode. You find out who to ask the questions to and get answers. Seems simple but we need more Rachel and Joshs!

I was, too. Rachel and Josh did the same thing on Cropsey. Just good old-fashioned police work, pounding the payment, asking questions, developing sources. I hate to say it, but sometimes the police are more interested in traffic tickets than getting out of their car.

Granted that is the latter is frightening, time-consuming, likely to lead to dead ends and waste of department resources.

Bah, thank you for your reply but it didn't work for me :(

I was kind of spooked to realize that Billy Mansfield was killing in my area. In fact, I grew up there and only just moved away ten years ago.

Anyway, was anyone else shocked when the trucker serial killer said two WOMEN were part of the killing group?!

Josh and Rachel, did he elaborate any more upon that statement?

Now he lives in my neighborhood.....

Go to the A&E app, click on the top left three lines, under it it says just added, click on it. First that comes up is episode 5 under it is 6. Hope this helps for those wanting to watch.

(That property of the brothers was creeeeepy. I wonder if there are 2 other bodies buried there...)

I am finding episodes 5 & 6 are locked if you aren't a cable subscriber (via PC or app). Hopefully that will change. I didn't encounter the lock on episodes 1-4.

I am not a cable subscriber. So it goes. [emoji53]

ETA: I am sure I can glean all the pertinent info in the threads! I have some catching up to do. [emoji477]

OT: Can someone tell me if there's a thread for episode 4? I can't seem to locate it. TIA

Had trouble sleeping after watching episodes 5 & 6. These were nightmares come true. What stands out to me is that LISK is not involved with the Daytona killings. I felt such a saddness for all the women at the bar living on the edge of life. It seems so easy for someone to come in and take their lives and no one would really miss them. Rachel said it best "They come to live here in a Hazy Permanent Place."

There was a time I thought of moving to Daytona but I am glad I never did it. The women lived such down on their luck lives and looked older than their years. Drinking, drugging, prostitution as a way of life, desperation. I wanted to scoop them all up and show them that life could be better. I hope the killer/s are caught and some respect is shown for the loss of their lives.

Can't access either episode w/o a cable subscription -- disappointing, since early indications were that the whole series would be available online.

The Episodes have been available for free every week since Nov 12th. As with all the shows on A&E they eventually are taken off the site and made available through purchase.

As of right now on the site the episodes are not available. I'm not sure if the final episodes will be avialabe on line. I'll check and let you know as soon as I find out.
