Laredo is very sketch and scares me. But you can score some great eats down that way!
I'm not sure how long you've been a driver but can you remember about when it was that the Mexican truck drivers were starting to be allowed to drive in the US? I'm going to have to go back and do some research. It's in recent years I know. I need to refresh my brain on what year it started and what the rules are.

I lived there in a motel for 2 months for trucking school and learned a lot about Laredo, and drivers do drop their loads, pick up an empty, and cross back to Mexico. I don't think it's Mexican serial killers wreaking havoc across the US, if that was the implication, or vice versa. Most US drivers wouldn't cross either, because cartel crime is so bad, and trucks are targeted for their freight.

You are very brave to endure 2 months in that city. If you are female I do hope you had someone you could trust with you at all times you were not in your classes for your training.

I truly believe that almost 100% if not all of the victims who are on the highway initiative list will be the victims of US residents. I really wish we had more access to the information on that list. It's driving me batty. I really want to study those cases more in depth.

I need some help. So I've watched the show and have spoken with my husband about it. He's a long-haul truck driver. I asked him if he's ever out and sees or gets suspicious of anything or anyone, message me with some info. Well he did. He met a man who gave him the creeps. He continuously talked to my husband about girls, asking if he's ever grabbed one just to scare them or if he's ever done anything that he could get into trouble for...

If anyone wants to dig into this person, his name is <modsnip>. He is white, medium build, 5'7-5'8, mid-40's, medium length white hair, blue eyes and clean shaven.

I'm not a current sex worker but I was training to become a dominatrix in Arizona when I was told some disturbing stories of some of the regular clients. One in particular was supposedly a licensed psychiatrist/psychologist nicknamed "Psycho John" by the dommes. He paid to talk about his sexual fantasies with the women, nothing too physical. Some of the fantasies I was told about included breaking & entering into a family home, raping the children and making the adults rape their own children. Also another one was abducting children from school and forcing them to fellate him then castrating them. Mutilation of genitals and breasts. Extreme & extremely specific fantasies. Far beyond normal BDSM play to the point that some of the women wouldn't even take him as a client. Keep in mind, most guys just want to be fisted or be pegged, stuff they can't get at home.

After hearing about Psycho John I decided I couldn't do the job and didn't go back. Sometimes I think about going back and seeing if I can find out who he is because I can't imagine a person with such extreme advanced fantasy life hasn't acted on it. Either through assaulting a family member, downloading illegal *advertiser censored* or stalking etc..
 
That is a great lead! Sounds like a viable suspect for sure. At least he fits the profile now we need to find out if he was in the areas in question. Does he know what type of truck or what company he works for? PM Bessie with the info if your worried about it. Excellent lead. Did he mention what type of girls or maybe age? I know the conversation was brief but your husband may know more than he thinks. Ask him to recall the specifics of the conversation. Maybe his mannerisms too. Could be helpful to law enforcement.
BTW didhe mention any strange encounters with female drivers? My theory is that female drivers aren't as aggressive rather they are the lure for the male drivers in the group mentioned in one of the episodes.
 
We really want to hear from you. We hope you are not affraid to talk here. Ladies like you have an insight that is crucial to this case. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
 
Unlike most serial killers who live under the radar, these long haul serial killers are out in the open. Living their lives as if what they do is normal. Which for them it is. This lack of empathy for human life is why we don't recognize them and they don't stand out in a crowd. I feel there needs to be a new 'normal' for the behavior analysis of these type of serial killers.

I would love for the former sex workers to check back in and would love to hear a show featuring them. They have been out there at the mercy of creeps and I feel could really help us learn a lot more of the working order of what happens out there, how they chose which clients to take and if they feel they ever dodged or escaped a SK.

There needs to be attention on these trafficking issues. I'm not sure people.really think about these things or how they work because of stigma attached to it. But these sex workers have a story worth telling. Their story could very well keep other women from becoming working girls and or help educate them how to be safer at what they are doing.

Something we only touched briefly on last night was the possibility of a female truck driver SK. I would love to her from a profiler how they feel a female SK fits or could fit into the 500 plus murders on the map.

I've said it before and I will say it again, I wish we were more privy to the map. How many of the murders are men if any are? Are they all women? I spend hours and hours in the UID section and have for a while trying to figure out what cases there may be ones on the map.

I would also like to know of in the past 10 years if there's been less murders that are suspected to been the work of truck drivers. I feel like there is a decrease in numbers due to so many companies having OBR'S. I absolutely believe there are still active trucker SK'S but are flying under the radar by being owner operators or working for small mom and pop companies that do not yet use OBR technology. While.it is possible a trucker SK could work for a company with OBR'S I feel it's less likely because these guys want to fly under the radar so they can keep doing their evil deeds.
 
I hope we can get another show together with the sex workers. Is there any way we can conceal their identity more? Maybe they can call Bessie and she can communicate on the air for them but she will be the only one to hear their real voices. For example, she could have them on another phone to relay a question to them and they can answer back via Bessie on the air?Or maybe we can complile a series of questions for them to answer via PM and them Bessie can read these Q & A's on the air and we as drivers can comment on them. Maybe the sex workers would be more open to this.
That being said only confirms my profile idea of a female working with a man to lure them in. If the sex workers are this leary about thier voices being recognized with no physical threat present then I hope we can arrange a more covert way to communicate with them. If anyone has any ideas please let us know. We don't want any harm to come to them.
 
I heard a married couple soliciting a threesome over the cb before. I wonder if that's not a ploy to lure in an unsuspecting victim

hmmm maybe.......it's a stretch but very possible. Random too. I guess it could fit. It is worth looking into at the very least.

I'm kinda lost after reading some of these... newbie alert... How does a girl end up 400 miles away from where she started? If she's there working... wouldn't she climb into the cab, make her pay then get out and move on? How does driving her miles away from the truck stop even happen? If the trucker is hitting the road, wouldn't the girl get out before he heads out? Sorry, I'm just so lost on how this can happen.....:gaah:

Also... where do you tune into the podcast?/radio show? that was discussed?
