2008.11 Events Surrounding the Casey Anthony Case

Hi, Could you let me know which of the 11 parts of the FBI interview Cindy says this? I don't think I could bear listening to the entire thing again.

Part 1
ETA it's not part 1. I am searching now, but it's in the video in this thread.......

Searchfortruth,
My fellow sleuthing friend and I put this together when verifying dates for the daisy chain document. She was reading here and found your thread, and emailed it to me and said to feel free to share it. I think she even added some of your dates/events in. Hope this helps - it is the LONG version! (BTW, One day I will get my sleuther friend to join - I just know it!)

Timeline: October to December, 2008
Caylee Anthony Case

OCTOBER 2008:

Oct. 7th – Baez wants to drive Casey around on a secret search mission.

Oct. 10 – Tim Miller is in Orlando, meeting with authorities, considering another search.
(Note: On 10/18, following Casey’s murder indictment and arrest on 10/14, TES does announce plans to resume their search for Caylee on November 7.)

Oct. 13th – Media announces that a child’s Disney dress was found last weekend (10/6)by an independent former TES searcher near the Orlando International Airport.

Oct. 14th- Grand Jury Indicts Casey for murder. (George testifies, with attorney Mark NeJame accompanying him for support.) Later, Casey stands silently next to Baez as he holds a press conference at his office. There is a confusing semi-chase with Cindy behind the wheel – including a pit stop in which Cindy stops the vehicle, gets out, and approaches a news van to angrily hit the driver’s window and shout that Holly [Bristow] is never getting another exclusive. There is a near collision as LE intercepts Cindy’s vehicle in order to take Casey into custody.

Oct. 15th- Casey makes a brief appearance in court to be formally charged with murder.

Oct. 16th – (?date?) Mystery defense spokesman Todd Black created a stir by stating: "This is a very serious case involving -- not just involving the loss of the life of this little girl, but the loss of whatever is going to happen with Casey Anthony," Black said. He later said he did not mean to imply that Caylee is deceased.

Oct. 17th – People magazine cover story: “A Mom’s Web of Lies.” (Written and printed before the indictment and arrest.)

Oct. 17th – GA talks to media: Caylee is in PR; but she has been elsewhere, and moved to nine different places. Says businesses are bowing to protestors’ boycott threats, and won’t allow A’s to set up their command center; they have had to relocate the command center four times.

Oct. 18th – TES announces they will resume searching for Caylee on November 7. (Note: On 10/10, it was reported that TES was in Orlando meeting with authorities to consider future searches.)
? date ? Cindy goes on TV to deny it is Caylee’s dress.(?which show?). (Note: Tim Miller later says the dress was planted by one of his former searchers; says there were suspicions regarding the origin of this dress and how it ended up in that area, which are being investigated.)

Oct. 22 – News story: Computer searches dating to shortly before Caylee’s disappearance, on how to make chloroform, were found by investigators on the A’s computer.

Oct. 24th- Results of forensic testing of Casey’s trunk released: Air samples indicate human decomposition, one hair was found with a telltale “death band,” and high levels of chloroform were detected.

Oct. 27th – Neither Casey nor her attorney are present as Casey is formally arraigned on the murder charges. (They are not required to be present.)

Oct. 28th – Strickland meets with attorneys to coordinate schedules and set trial dates. Casey’s trial is set for January 5, 2009, with a pre-trial conference date of December 11, 2008.

Oct. 28th- 1800 pages of tip information is released by the prosecution. The tips are mostly from

Oct. 28th – WFTV website poll: “Should Prosecutors Seek the Death Penalty?” (Result: Overwhelmingly, yes.)

Oct. 30th – News story: Investigators have surveillance video from Blockbuster Video from June 16 showing Casey inside the store with Tony Lazzaro around 8pm that day. One movie they rent is “Untraceable,” which contains a scene with a decomposing murder victim discovered in a woman’s car trunk, and duct tape used in the torture death of a kidnapping victim. The main character is a single mom of a little girl whose father is dead; the mom and daughter live with her mother and the mom regrets that the long hours she puts in at work mean less time bonding with her daughter. The daughter is naturally closer to the grandmother, who takes care of her full-time.

Oct. 30th- A witness sees George’s car parked on the side of the highway less than four miles from the A’s home, near Hoffner Ave. around 6:15pm, and George standing at the edge of the woods, staring in. He then gets in his vehicle and drives away.

Oct. 31st – (Halloween) Cindy tells Channel 6 that the A’s have a private investigator looking into tips. She states: “ George and I don’t believe that Caylee is in the woods… (pause) …or out there.” She adds: “ Exact spot? We’re getting close. We feel we’re on the right track. We believe – and have from Day 1 – that Caylee has not stayed in the same place for very long. We believe that she’s been moved several times."

Oct. 31st- (Halloween) WFTV reports that Orange County Jail officials have warned Baez to stop violating jail rules by repeatedly hugging Casey during his visits, sitting extremely close to her, and holding her hand. When confronted on his behavior, Baez allegedly threatened the jail with a motion, stating that he hugs all of his clients.

NOVEMBER 2008

1st Sat- WFTV updates their story about Baez’s Casey-hugging problem, to include the fact that the Florida Bar is now investigating him for inappropriate behavior, due to a complaint filed by a woman in Indiana, unrelated to the case, after she learned of Baez’s inappropriate behavior via media reports.

2nd Sun- At a church vigil, Cindy becomes quite emotional while hugging a brown-haired little girl. Following the vigil, in reply to a media question about whether it was helpful to her to gather with others for support, she used the word “tragedy” (even though she was still openly claiming to believe that Caylee was alive): “Oh, absolutely. Um, you know… No one person can ever get through a tragedy… you know… (pause) It takes people to join together and give each other support….”

3rd Mon- Media reports Florida Bar investigating Baez’s hugging issues.

3rd Mon- Media reports on one reporter’s analysis of KC’s cell pings June 16 – 30, 2008, which contradict much of her and her parents’ previous statements, and show that there was an hour and a half of dead time with no phone activity immediately after the “flurry” of calls to Cindy and George on the afternoon of June 16.

3rd Mon- Mystery defense spokesman Todd Black is taken off the case.

3rd Mon- Anthony attorney Mark NeJame complains to OCSO about Yuri Melich posting on Websleuths. He was there to express appreciation for compliments for his work on the Caylee case. He did not discuss the case with the WSers, though. And he asked them to pray for the Anthony family. OCSO decided to play it safe and ask Melich to discontinue posting online.

4th Tue- Date of Terence Lenamon’s report to Linda Drane-Burdick, as to why the State should not seek the death penalty against Casey. This report hit the news over the next couple of days.

4th Tue- George in the news for having been seen looking into the woods on Oct. 30, four miles from the Anthony home. It is in an area frequented by Casey during the crucial time period, per cell phone pings. It is also an area previously searched by TES in September. The news story results in Cindy texting an unlikely explanation to Kathi Belich at WFTV: He was scouting spots for setting up a command center. However, the Defense’s spokesperson told WFTV that they were aware that George had been there, and that there might be certain things involving the case that they cannot talk about.

4th Tue- TES is back in Orlando, training volunteers and planning for a 3-4 day extensive search beginning Saturday, 11/8. It is reported that they have returned now because the one-third of the key search area near the airport that was previously underwater is now mostly dry and can be searched. They will also be searching the area where George was seen looking into the woods.

5th Wed- Baez seeks access to LE tips. He states, “We all believe she's alive and if these tips, if there's one credible tip in that 5,000, it's worth us going through them.”

5th Wed- On the same day Baez claims they “all” believe Caylee is alive, Terence Lenamon’s 30-page report is quoted by TV news as suggesting Caylee could have been killed by “an unwitting overdose of a sedative” or by chloroform poisoning; that it would have been an accidental death rather than a premeditated one.

5th Wed- Strickland continues the check fraud hearing to December 11.

5th Wed- Cindy is in the news for shutting down websites and blogs, and threatening the owner of the Justice for Caylee website, saying that if she were not so far away, she would come and “definitely kick your *advertiser censored*.” The woman filed a police report, but no charges were filed against Cindy.

6th Thu- Cindy responds to questions about her efforts against websites blogs that say Caylee is dead or that are critical of Casey or the A’s. She denies threatening the owner of the Justice for Caylee website. She says that she and NeJame, as well as Baez, are working with myspace to shut down over 100 offensive pages. She says that she has to “protect Caylee’s name;” that these people don’t have the right to use Caylee’s name on their sites.

6th Thu- 500-700 pages released. Bombshell: GA telling LE the trunk smelled of decomp. “I believe there’s something dead back there and I hate to say the word human. I really hate to say that… Please don’t let this be my Caylee…” Many LE interview transcripts with various key players. Cindy’s reaction to media re the documents released: “No one’s brought me a body. No one’s proven that she’s dead.”

6th Thu- It is reported for the second day, that Terence Lenamon presented a 30-pg. report (dated 11/4/08) to Linda Drane Burdick re why the State should not seek the death penalty against Casey. An excerpt was released to the media, and it included photos of Casey as a baby and child. One photo shows Casey holding a doll similar to the “Mama” doll Caylee left behind. The State Attorney’s Office did not confirm to the media that they had received this report, and it is not a public record.

6th Thu- The Prosecution announces they will not be seeking the death penalty for the time being, due to insufficient aggravating circumstances. (They will reverse this decision after Caylee’s remains are found and autopsied.)

6th Thu- LP returns to Orlando to participate in the TES search this weekend. He says he will search for Caylee out of spite towards Casey, who did not cooperate when he bailed her out of jail.

7th Fri- Prosecution files a motion requesting a gag order in the case.

7th Fri- Baez has filed his own motion, demanding to see more of the 5000 tips (he previously was given 450 of them).

7th Fri- Fox: “Search of the Century to Begin this Weekend.” TES gearing up for search and asking for volunteers. As many as 5000 searchers are expected to participate.

8th Sat- TES and 1300 volunteers search key wooded areas, especially near airport.

8th Sat- It is later reported that on this date, PI James Hoover approached TES volunteer Bill Todd at the search command post to report a confidential tip. Hoover stated that an unidentified young female who lives in the Hopespring neighborhood had told him that she had seen Casey Anthony’s car with its trunk opened, backed up to the trail at the dead end of Suburban Drive near the school, sometime prior to Casey’s July 15 arrest. (Note: The Pontiac was abandoned on June 27 and towed to Johnson’s wrecker yard on June 30, where it presumably remained until it was retrieved by George and Cindy on July 15.) Edwards and Melich interviewed Bill Todd in September 2009 about this incident. Todd told them he did not recognize James Hoover at the time, and only learned his identity much later, after seeing him on TV.

8th Sat- George makes an appearance at the Kid Finders Command & Volunteer Center Saturday afternoon. He says he holds no ill will toward TES but believes his granddaughter is alive. He tells reporters he doesn’t “believe they will find my granddaughter out there.” Cindy, whom George said was “not taking the search too well,” stayed home and remained out of the spotlight this day.

9th Sun- Dramatically fewer searchers show up for Day 2. A team of 300 TES searchers use ATVs and sonar boats to search additional key areas.

9th Sun- Padilla announces his new theory and will remain in Orlando to search JBPark at his own expense. In the days to come, the public will learn of a falling out between Padilla and Miller.

9th Sun- Cindy announces to news media that she and George traveled to Gainesville overnight to check out a possible Caylee sighting that came in through their own tip line, not through the Sheriff’s office. The sighting was of a man and a little girl at a Winn Dixie store. Cindy claims the store allowed the A’s to see the surveillance footage and that they could not determine for sure whether or not it was Caylee.

10th Mon- Cindy appears on Good Morning America. "There is no evidence that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Caylee is dead." She is angry at the Prosecution’s request for a gag order. She tells the national audience about the Gainesville tip and claims that she can’t rule out whether it is Caylee.

10th Mon- Only about 40 searchers show up for Day 3 of the TES Caylee search. Saying he doesn’t think Caylee will ever be found, but hoping he is wrong, Tim Miller abruptly suspends the search. Says the decision is heartbreaking, and adds that TES has spent right at $100,000 on the search for Caylee so far. He publicly expresses his irritation with Padilla’s insistence on conducting his own independent search at JBPark, noting that the Orange County Sheriff’s Office is not interested in that area.

10th Mon- Padilla gets permission to put search divers in the water of the Little Econ River, at JBPark. The A’s and the Milsteads show up to confront him, with the drama captured on video by the news media.

10th Mon- Angry at Padilla, Miller appears on NG with his criticism, voicing his disgust that LP privately tried to entice him with the thought of the triumphant moment he might hold up Caylee’s skull and reap all the glory (and donations) for finding her remains.

10th Mon- It is unofficially reported that Lee Anthony was seen being picked up at his home by LE.

11th Tue- Gainesville Police report that the Winn-Dixie sighting has been investigated and the child thought to be Caylee has been identified. It is definitely not Caylee.

11th Tue- Meters are read in the Anthonys’ neighborhood. Roy Kronk’s assigned route takes him to the Suburban Drive area for the first time since August 10, when he thought he saw something on Suburban and made three unsuccessful attempts to report it. (Kronk will next be assigned this route one month later, on December 11, the day he will report having discovered Caylee’s skull and the bags.)

11th Tue- Against the A’s objections, LP and RG hold a memorial @ JBPark just before 9am. In a myspace post, the A’s claim LP has “crossed the line.” In response, LP changes the name of the event to a “prayer vigil” instead of “memorial service.” Nearly 100 people show up.

11th Tue- On CNN Headline News, LP states that Cindy has accused him and his crew of stealing clothing and beads from their home.

12th Wed- LP announces he will resume searching at JBPark tomorrow.

12th Wed- Garrison quits as the A’s spokesperson, citing “erratic behavior.” Says he has much to tell –and plans to do so, but it will have to wait until the proper future time. The Anthonys say they fired him because he secretly profited by a $6,500 fee for one of the A’s appearances on NBC.
The A’s new spokesperson is announced: Michelle Bart, who is already acting as spokesperson for KidFinders Network (the Milsteads). Bart announces an upcoming “Meet and Greet” for Saturday 11/15.

13th Thu- LP’s dive team finds bag with “bones,” toys in Little Econ River at JBPark. OCSO questions Padilla and asks his consent to undergo a polygraph exam. He gives his consent, but is not immediately polygraphed. WFTV: “Padilla Says Body Will Be Found.”

13th Thu- At the jail, KC hears the news of Padilla’s find on TV, has no reaction.

14th Fri- On behalf of the Defense, Henry Lee examines Casey’s Pontiac.

14th Fri- Channel 6 reports on three “dead zones” among Casey’s cell phone pings between June 16 and June 30, which may be problematic for investigators trying to retrace her activities.

14th Fri- OCSO says items found by divers contain no human remains, and are unrelated to the case. In a media interview, Padilla says he’s more convinced than ever that Casey disposed of Caylee at JBPark; his belief is based on the story Casey told his people – that Zenaida forcibly kidnapped Caylee near the swings at JBPark, with help from her sister Samantha.

14th Fri- TES sends out a request to contributors for copies of receipts for their donations made to any site other than TES, claiming to be collecting money for the Caylee search, citing audit concerns.

15th Sat- Orlando Sentinel reports that Casey is countersuing Zenaida, and Cindy is writing a book.

15th Sat- Channel 13 reports that the FBI wants to polygraph Padilla next week regarding his search and the items his dive team found at Jay Blanchard Park Thursday. Padilla has no problem with that, and says he plans to resume searching on Monday.

15th Sat- The Meet and Greet is held at the command center, with new spokesperson Michelle Bart. The A’s ask for donations for KidFinders. Later in the day, spokesperson Michelle Bart tells the media that she plans to hold a news conference on Monday 11/17 to present evidence that Caylee is alive.

15th Sat- DC DC told JH that Caylee was deceased, and they were going to “go get her.” and JH conduct the first clandestine search on Suburban Dr. JH records on video. Dominic will later explain to LE that he only searched this area on hunch after hearing of the general area as a teen hangout for Casey, and on a tip from psychic Ginette Lucas. He is seen talking on a cell phone during this search, and claims that the psychic was giving him instructions on where to look. It is later revealed that Dominic had been instructed by Baez to notify him (Baez), not LE, if he were to find Caylee’s remains, a revelation which led to a Florida Bar complaint against Baez (again); this time filed by Judge Strickland. (Note: When Caylee’s remains were finally found 12/11, and LE arrived at the A home several days later with a search warrant, Cindy told them that she had had people walking that area a month prior, and that Caylee’s remains had not been there at that time.)

16th Sun- Second search, with DC dressed in jeans. JH films again. Includes Brackenwood abandoned house.

16th Sun- Date that Lee reportedly texted Cindy re letters Baez has from Casey to each of the A’s.

16th Sun- (?date?) Bart announces that the press conference will be postponed until NeJame returns from trip.

16th Sun- Candlelight vigil held inside Eastside Baptist Church. Media not allowed inside.

16th Sun- George sings “Lean on Me” at the vigil. Later tells media he “leans on” Cindy.

16th Sun- After vigil, Cindy tells reporters on camera that LP is “planting evidence out there.”

17th Mon- Possibly a third clandestine search by Dominic Casey (possibly sans Hoover?), on Suburban and/or the abandoned house. (Note: Also reported to have taken place on the 19th.)

17th Mon- No press conference as originally scheduled (“postponed”). Bart says the family, NeJame, KidFinders, and their private investigator will speak later this week on why they believe Caylee is alive.

17th Mon- Padilla scheduled to resume dive search at JBPark. Many are surprised to learn that he is back in California. He is said to have returned in order to take an FBI lie detector test there. Tells media he has been offered $200,000 by a film production company for exclusive rights to film his search, and that he has not decided on whether to accept the offer.

17th Mon- Over 100 evidence photos and images (from Casey’s photobucket account) are released.

17th Mon- John Morgan exchanges public barbs with Cindy Anthony; tells the media that he wants to depose Casey in the jail.

17th Mon- WFTV’s Kathy Belich confronts Dennis Milstead at the KidFinders command center to ask about his criminal record. He physically pushes away her microphone and pushes away a cameraman, then leaves the command center without comment.

18th Tue- The State’s witness list is released.

18th Tue- Baez files ten new motions, to subpoena information from Tony Lazzaro, to compel calendar, crime scenes, notes, K9 records, reports, and tips, etc.

18th Tue- Channel 6 does a story on William “Murt” Murtagh, calling him an “internet celebrity” for his coverage of the case.

19th Wed- Headline: “Psychic Gale St. John Back in Orlando to Search for Caylee;” says she will be searching through Sunday.

19th Wed- (?source?)(s/b 17th?) DC allegedly performs a third secret search, this time solo, without JH filming.

19th Wed- Channel 6 confirms George and Cindy are writing a book, though they claim there is no deal in the works yet. WESH reports that George is to be the new KidFinders spokesman.

19th Wed- Channel 6 airs an exclusive interview by Jessica D’Onofrio and a tour of the Anthony home. Cindy Anthony says she will not give up on the idea of Caylee being alive “until I know 100 percent… There’s no concrete evidence. There’s only circumstantial evidence.”

19th WESH reports that in August when Casey was out on bond and TES was searching for Caylee, she remarked to Padilla employee Tracy McLaughlin, “They haven’t even found the clothes she was wearing.” The story goes on to state that Orange County investigators confirmed to WESH that they have been to California to question McLaughlin. Padilla claims on NG that Casey’s statements were “self-incriminating.”

19th OCSO’s Carlos Padilla states that LE believes that the evidence tested by the FBI proves Caylee is deceased, which is backed up by the murder indictment.

20th Thu- NeJame resigns as A’s attorney, saying he no longer wishes to advise clients who refuse to take his advice. He states that the only person who knows the truth is Casey.

20th Thu- Asked by FOX reporter Shannon Butler about the news conference set for tomorrow, George remained mysterious. He told Butler, “She is alive. We have been saying that all along.”

21st Fri- FBI interview tapes are released, of Cindy (July 30) and George (July 31). [NOTE: WE HAVE NOT YET SEEN LEE’S FBI INTERVIEW.] In the interviews, George was very clear about the “distinct odor” of decomp in the car. And he detailed Casey’s lies and thefts, saying that he feels she holds the answer to what happened to Caylee. Cindy, on the other hand, completes a detailed profile questionnaire about Casey and paints a picture of the perfect family, perfect daughter, and perfect mommy.

21st Fri- The “Help Find Caylee Search Team” (Michelle Bart, the A’s, KidFinders) hold a news conference to release a photo taken at the Florida Mall on Sunday, Nov. 16, of an unknown child who they say could be Caylee. George speaks, criticizing LE, extolling KidFinders. He asks for donations for the CMA Foundation and KidFinders. At his side, a very thin and uncharacteristically silent Cindy keeps her eyes down, appears stricken and sedated. Her appearance is noteworthy, especially compared to three days prior at the “Meet and Greet.”

23rd Sun- The Anthonys hold an evening prayer vigil at Eastside Baptist Church.

24th Mon- Casey Anthony’s attorney had been fighting for permission to bring his laptop to jail visits with her. He will now be able to do so beginning in December, based on a new jail policy.

24th Mon- Leonard Padilla announces he will begin searching for Caylee’s remains at Blanchard Park and the Little Econ River again in January. He says an unidentified benefactor has committed to a $50,000 donation to enable the renewed search.

25th Tue- WFTV reports on an email exchange between Cindy and Larry Garrison, which took place 11/22, in which Cindy admits having given the FBI the wrong hairbrush as evidence. WFTV speculates that Cindy could face charges for obstruction of justice.

25th Tue- Gag order hearing.

26th Wed- Strickland denies State’s motion for a gag order, which had been strongly opposed by the Defense.

26th Wed- 700 pages of documents released. This one includes emails with Cindy’s family members, as well as computer searches relating to “chloroform” and “neck breaking.”

27th Thu- Thanksgiving

DECEMBER 2008

Dec 1st Mon– Cindy claims that her Yahoo email account was hacked while she was out of town (for Thanksgiving? But the WFTV/Garrison/brush story was before Thanksgiving - ?), and she was “locked out” of the account. She claims that several sensitive emails and other documents were forwarded without her knowledge to other individuals, including to Kathi Belich of WFTV. Belich contacted Cindy upon receipt of the suspicious emails, which is how Cindy became aware of the problem. Belich also forwarded the emails to the FBI, who are investigating. Cindy claims Yahoo is investigating a possible culprit in Ocala.

Dec. 2nd Tue- WFTV reports that to date, Cindy has not reported the alleged “email hacking” incident to authorities.

Dec. 4th Thu- DVDs of visits to Casey in jail are released to the public. 7/24: Patrick Bourgeouis. 7/25am: Parents. 7/25pm: Parents. 7/28: Lee. 7/30: [same day as Cindy’s FBI interview] Parents. 8/3: George.)

Dec 5th Fri- State announces it will not be seeking the death penalty against Casey.

Dec 8th Mon- State reveals that despite multiple reminders, the defense team has yet to pick up discs containing 5000 tips received by LE in the
case. The discs have been available for a month, since Baez requested and received access to them.

Dec 8th Mon- The Anthonys announce there will be no more prayer vigils held for Caylee this year, but they will resume the vigils in the new year.

Dec 10th Wed- The Anthonys are in California for a national TV appearance on Larry King Live. On air, they claim Caylee is alive, Casey is innocent, there is no proof at all that Caylee is deceased, LE is railroading Casey, and that they plan to remain an extra day in California to investigate a West coast Caylee-sighting.

Dec 11th Thu- Pre-trial hearing for Casey’s murder trial, scheduled for January 5, 2009. Baez waives Casey’s right to a speedy trial and asks for a delay, which is granted by Judge Strickland. Trial date is pushed back to March 2009.

Dec 11th Thu- Roy Kronk, a meter reader for Orange County utilities, discovers a child’s skull. When the news breaks, Dominic Casey immediately calls the A’s in California. They board a plane to return to Orlando. That evening, as investigators and crime scene technicians work into the night to retrieve evidence and Caylee’s remains from the site, The A family plus Lee’s girlfriend Mallory, along with Baez, Dominic, and ABC reps, dine at the Ritz, where ABC is footing the bill for the A’s to stay following the discovery of the remains. Brad Conway surfaces as the A’s new attorney.

Dec 12th -13th Fri-Sat- The media reports that the hair length and color, and the size of the skull and bones, indicate that the remains found on Suburban Drive are likely Caylee’s. Additionally, it is revealed that there was duct tape stretched across the mouth of the little skull.

Dec 12th-13th Fri-Sat- George, Cindy, and Lee were fingerprinted over the weekend.

Dec 18th Thu- Investigators searched the Anthony home, focusing on Caylee’s room and her clothing, shoes, and belongings.

Dec 19th Fri- ME Jan Garavaglia confirms the remains are those of Caylee Marie Anthony, and that Caylee’s death was ruled a homicide by unknown means.

Dec 19th-20th Fri-Sat- Investigators searched the Anthony home again, this time focusing more on Casey’s room, clothing, shoes, and belongings.

Dec 29th Mon- It is reported that Dominic Casey, who worked for both the defense and the Anthonys, had secretly searched and videotaped the area on Suburban Drive less than a month before Caylee’s remains were discovered. OCSO disclosed that Dominic had not responded to their attempts to speak with him. Baez sought to have any LE interviews with Dominic Casey governed by a special master in order to protect the Defense’s secrets.

Dec 29th Mon- Lee Anthony has retained an attorney. His attorney and his parents' attorney speak to the media in the next few days, mentioning that their clients may be in need of immunity from prosecution.

News, what a great timeline you and your friend put together ! THANK YOU !

I wish there was some way we could add all of the events together in one post. I think it would be easier to connect the events during this time period. So many actions during this time frame seem related, but there are some crucial answers missing.

Is there a way we can put all of the events together in one post ?

There seems to be an abundance of activity during the November 2008 time line (some possibly related events also occur in October through January). Although some of the events listed are not in November, there may be some important information there that helps to tie things together.
I am going to do my best to copy these events, but if I have missed some please feel welcome to add to or correct.
It is my hope that by analyzing these dates, we can fill in some of the blanks.

Later, Casey stands silently next to Baez as he holds a press conference at his office. There is a confusing semi-chase with Cindy behind the wheel – including a pit stop in which Cindy stops the vehicle, gets out, and approaches a news van to angrily hit the driver’s window and shout that Holly [Bristow] is never getting another exclusive. There is a near collision as LE intercepts Cindy’s vehicle in order to take Casey into custody. http://www.wftv.com/news/17705500/detail.html

The main character is a single mom of a little girl whose father is dead; the mom and daughter live with her mother and the mom regrets that the long hours she puts in at work mean less time bonding with her daughter. The daughter is naturally closer to the grandmother, who takes care of her full-time.

Oct. 31st - (Halloween) WFTV reports that Orange County Jail officials have warned Baez to stop violating jail rules by repeatedly hugging Casey during his visits, sitting extremely close to her, and holding her hand. When confronted on his behavior, Baez allegedly threatened the jail with a motion, stating that he hugs all of his clients.

NOVEMBER 2008

Nov.1st (Sat)- WFTV updates their story about Baez’s Casey-hugging problem, to include the fact that the Florida Bar is now investigating him for inappropriate behavior, due to a complaint filed by a woman in Indiana, unrelated to the case, after she learned of Baez’s inappropriate behavior via media reports.

Nov.2nd (Sun) - At a church vigil, Cindy becomes quite emotional while hugging a brown-haired little girl.
Nov. 3rd (Mon) - Media reports Florida Bar investigating Baez’s hugging issues.

Nov. 3rd ( Mon) - Media reports on one reporter’s analysis of KC’s cell pings June 16 – 30, 2008, which contradict much of her and her parents’ previous statements, and show that there was an hour and a half of dead time with no phone activity immediately after the “flurry” of calls to Cindy and George on the afternoon of June 16.

Nov. 3rd ( Mon) - Mystery defense spokesman Todd Black is taken off the case.

Nov. 3rd ( Mon) - Anthony attorney Mark NeJame complains to OCSO about Yuri Melich posting on Websleuths. He was there to express appreciation for compliments for his work on the Caylee case. Nov 4th (Tue) - George in the news for having been seen looking into the woods on Oct.

Nov 4th (Tue) - TES is back in Orlando, training volunteers and planning for a 3-4 day extensive search beginning Saturday, 11/8. It is reported that they have returned now because the one-third of the key search area near the airport that was previously underwater is now mostly dry and can be searched. They will also be searching the area where George was seen looking into the woods.

Nov. 5th (Wed)- Baez seeks access to LE tips. He states, “We all believe she's alive and if these tips, if there's one credible tip in that 5,000, it's worth us going through them.”

Nov. 5th (Wed) - On the same day Baez claims they “all” believe Caylee is alive, Terence Lenamon’s 30-page report is quoted by TV news as suggesting Caylee could have been killed by “an unwitting overdose of a sedative” or by chloroform poisoning; that it would have been an accidental death rather than a premeditated one.

Nov. 5th (Wed) - Strickland continues the check fraud hearing to December 11.

Nov. 5th (Wed) - Cindy is in the news for shutting down websites and blogs, and threatening the owner of the Justice for Caylee website, saying that if she were not so far away, she would come and “definitely kick your *advertiser censored*.” The woman filed a police report, but no charges were filed against Cindy.

Nov. 6th (Thu) - Cindy responds to questions about her efforts against websites blogs that say Caylee is dead or that are critical of Casey or the A’s. She denies threatening the owner of the Justice for Caylee website. She says that she and NeJame, as well as Baez, are working with myspace to shut down over 100 offensive pages. She says that she has to “protect Caylee’s name;” that these people don’t have the right to use Caylee’s name on their sites.

Nov. 6th (Thu) - 500-700 pages released.

Nov. 6th (Thu) - It is reported for the second day, that Terence Lenamon presented a 30-pg. report (dated 11/4/08) to Linda Drane Burdick re why the State should not seek the death penalty against Casey. An excerpt was released to the media, and it included photos of Casey as a baby and child. One photo shows Casey holding a doll similar to the “Mama” doll Caylee left behind. Nov. 8th (Sat) - It is later reported that on this date, PI James Hoover approached TES volunteer Bill Todd at the search command post to report a confidential tip.

Nov. 8th (Sat) - George makes an appearance at the Kid Finders Command & Volunteer Center Saturday afternoon. He says he holds no ill will toward TES but believes his granddaughter is alive. He tells reporters he doesn’t “believe they will find my granddaughter out there.” Cindy, whom George said was “not taking the search too well,” stayed home and remained out of the spotlight this day.

Nov 9th (Sun) - Cindy announces to news media that she and George traveled to Gainesville overnight to check out a possible Caylee sighting that came in through their own tip line, not through the Sheriff’s office. The sighting was of a man and a little girl at a Winn Dixie store. Cindy claims the store allowed the A’s to see the surveillance footage and that they could not determine for sure whether or not it was Caylee.

Nov 10th (Mon) - Cindy appears on Good Morning America. "There is no evidence that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Caylee is dead." She is angry at the Prosecution’s request for a gag order. She tells the national audience about the Gainesville tip and claims that she can’t rule out whether it is Caylee.

Nov 10th (Mon) - Only about 40 searchers show up for Day 3 of the TES Caylee search.

Also DC's trail of contracts / who specifically he was working for when? When did he switch from being KC or JB's employee to CA's? And what were his contacts to KC within the time period.

From it though I think we can clearly see that JB started to get some degree of "the truth" around Oct 7. His staff certainly knew the deal by Oct 16th or so (note TB's public statement), so we can sort of surmise that DC may have picked it up then. GA and CA had some inkling that she was "in the woods" but apparently not sure which right around Halloween, and they had a much greater degree of certainty 2 weeks later when DC was dispatched into the exact woods where Caylee would later be found. Seeing it all laid out like that you can see the spread of knowledge through the various members of the defense camp and family.

BEST. TIMELINE. EVER!! ... What an impressive document, I am speechless!

I have most of the DC dates in this working document, if it helps.

LMAO News. I wouldn't dare quote that post, but great work!! :rocker:

FANTASTIC timeline! Lots of hard work, I can tell, and so precise & in-depth. Just wanted to thank you for putting this together.

Part nine beginning at the
4:50 mark. Shew I was beginning to doubt my self. After listening to all of THOSE videos, I need a drink & I don't drink.:banghead:

ETA. She definitely states that Casey told her that Caylee's life would never be the same.
Could she have been misremembering what Casey told her at the jail? Cause didn't Casey say something to that effect that when Caylee was found her life would never be the same? Maybe I'm misremembering...lol...but I thought I read it here pretty recently.

Fantastic, TYSM.

So from what I see of that. DC "signed" a contract with KC directly on 9/12. Apparently he ended his contract with JB a little over 2 weeks later on Oct 1. He supposedly became C&G's agent at that time (some question there) and he apparently had direct contact with KC up until Oct 12th.

That certainly seems to play into the pathing of the information that seems to be running through the whole timeline. JB learned what really happened in very early October. This spread to those most directly around him (TB, DC etc) by the second week of Oct, where they seemed to be assuming she was deceased. I still think DC finally admitted what he at least suspected to CA during that second week in Nov, and that is how and why he was dispatched into the woods.

I know we know that DC was the one that allerted the A's that remains had been found on Suburban. Do we know what time he alerted them, and how that compares to other prior searches? Also how his timing compares to public information and LE activities? (in other words did he frantically call them early in the process because they were concerned or paying attention to that specific area, or did his call come later after news reports started to break?)
