OCSO examines and retrieves evidence from trunk of Pontiac. Dr. Lee then examines trunk and trunk trash, finds additional evidence that incompetent OCSO has missed, including ONE hair in trunk. OCSO reexamines trunk and trunk trash after Dr. Lee is finished and finds MULTIPLE HAIRS AND FIBERS in trunk trash and HAIRS (plural) in trunk. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

July 23, 2008 Mr. A. Lazzaro 1997 Jeep Cherokee Pg 9-10 Anthony Lazzaro's car...observed two suspected stains on the carpet located in the cargo area and other.... http://www.wesh.com/download/2009/0121/18530363.pdf

I started this thread to try and eliminate some confusion on what was found in Mr.Lazzaro's car. I transcribed the report 99% word for word.I also added one quote from Casey's car and the the DNA Parentage Test. Hope this helps.

At approximately 1522 hours Det Yuri informed me that there was a vehicle that he wants me to inspect for any additional evidence related with this case. Mr. A. Lazzaro arrived at the Forensics garage with the following vehicle: 1997 Jeep/Cherokee/Black/Four door/NY Tag# DAC1978/VIN#.
I proceeded to photograph the exterior and the interor for documentation. I inspected the interior of the vehicle by using an Ultra lite ALS. I observed two suspected stains on the carpet located in the cargo area. I took Two swab samples using steril water from the suspected areas. Presumptive blood test was performed. No reaction for blood was observed.

Auto Theft Garage: At approximately 1613 hours I moved the vehicle from our Forensics garage to the Auto Theft garage inorder to put the vehicle on the lift to check underneath the vehicle. I proceeded to photograph underneath the vehicle for documentation. The following pieces of evidence were collected:

Thank you for taking the time to type all of this. Are you trying to clarify that no evidence for taken from the jeep or are you suggesting that the test for H-52043 is related to the two stains in Tony's vehicle?

I will save myself a long post by clarifying this time before typing ;)

I am just as confused as most and figured if I typed it out and read it over and over and went back to dates and so fourth I could understand it myself. I know there are some smart people in the group that can break this down in layman's terms. What I got from the report that two stains were found in Casey's car and in Tony's car. Also, people keep saying that the DNA H-52043 that was taken may be due to Lee being Caylee's father. I do not believe this to be the case, when I read the report I noticed that there was no other report on that one certain DNA H-52043 test that is why I quoted it and listed Lee's info. I also went back to some of the time lines to see when Casey had Tony's car to see if maybe she revisited the crime scene or moved Caylee in his car. Maybe the stain is from decomposition as well.

June 30-July 5th Tony L. was in NY.Flight departed mid-morning on the June 30th and arrived on July 5th.

June 17, Chris saw Casey at his house with Tony’s jeep after 5:00PM stayed for about 2 hours her car had broke down. He had saw her the night before randomly and she came over the next day but not sure which day. No Caylee
Page 685 Lines 4-22,

June 17, 18, 19 conversation: Casey was going to buy a house over by the dump on Curry Ford Rd. That 250,000.00 was cheap for a house and her and her mom where going to get a new house for her. Just her and Caylee. Her parents were going to get a divorce and she didn’t like her Dad because he would get involved in her life too much and put his beliefs on her
Page 695 Lines 9-22, Document Page 17 Lines 16-25 Chris S. interview with LE on July 30, 2008 http://www.wftv.com/download/2008/0926/17564652.pdf

June 18th - Brian B saw Casey back into the garage for the second time. BB loans Casey his shovel around 1pm.

June 20th - Casey runs out of gas, goes with AL to CA & GA's and gets gas cans. BB saw Casey back into the garage the third time. Casey sleeps at AL's apt.
June 23rd - Brian B says he saw a green pick up,small, pull the A's driveway. BB thought he heard Casey's voice while the truck was there and thought he may have seen Casey and an unidentified person.

June 30th-Casey's car towed from Amscot to Johnson's towing. Casey drives AL to the airport. AL leaves for NY until July 5th. Casey starts driving AL's Jeep. Casey shows up at 9:45 am at RM's house without Caylee. Calls AH to let her in. Casey and AH go to Target and buy a new gas can. First night spending at RM's house without Caylee.

June 30-July 5 Amy said Casey was driving Tony’s jeep
Page 1044 Lines 24-25 Amy H. Interview with LE on 7/23/2008

June 10-30 Amy did not see Casey only heard from her with phone and text
Page 1041 Lines 14-16 Amy H. Interview with LE on 7/23/2008

July 5th- Casey shows up at WW's house at 9:30 am. Casey spends the day with WW, shopping and lunch, and talks to him even while at the airport to pick up AL. AL comes home from NY. Casey washes AL's Jeep on the way to pick him up from the airport.Casey and AL go to Buffalo Wild Wings and meet SD and Annie there for UFC fight night. Casey sleeps at AL's apt. wakes up sweaty with nightmares.

July 8th - Casey gets Amy H's car, takes Amy H to airport 6:30am.

July 15 S.Chris around 9:30 a.m., saw a girl who looked like Casey jogging down Chickasaw. He texted Casey and asked her if she was running down Chickasaw, but she said ‘no’

July 15th - Casey sent WW a text saying she was getting a rental car. Casey driving AH's car and picks her up at airport. AH takes Casey to AL's apt. CA calls AH and AH takes CA to Casey at AL's apt.

July 16, S.Chris got text message about Caylee being missing for 32 days. Casey called Chris later that night around 11:30 p.m. from jail, but he hung up without taking the call. He called his parents back and asked what he should do; they said not to take the call. Casey called back a few minutes later but he did not talk to her and has not talked to her or seen her since she was arrested. Around July 19 or 26 or so. ”Brought a bag with Caylee's scuba-style swim suit (it has a life-vest sewn in), some swimmers, hair things, etc.

So, Casey drove Tony's car, Amy's car and her car...nothing was said about Amy's car as of yet. From the report I assume that Casey revistied the crime scene or moved the body.
That could be a reason for the test to show two stains in the cargo area of Tony L's jeep. Two suspected stains on the carpet located in the cargo area.

If you notice there were two stains found in Casey's car as well. Pg3 IV- Inspecting the interior vehicle with Ultra lite ALS: (Casey's car-http://www.wesh.com/download/2009/0121/18530363.pdf
1.Positive result. Two suspected stains were observed on the ceiling of the driver's side. I proceeded to check the two suspected stains for possible presence of blood using presumptive blood test. No reaction for blood was observed.

Well...the only testing done on the additional hairs found was to see if they showed signs of decomp, and none did.

Let's step back a second and think about the events. LE has reason to believe there was a dead body in the trunk, but not in the car. This is based on the large trunk stain and the fact that the cadaver dog hit on the trunk and not the car interior.
<respectfully snipped>

TY for time line review and correction. I had allowed a post I'd read to confuse me on what was actually collected on page 3208. My apologies.

Awesome thread JWG! Did anyone notice or am I nuts - was there a fabric softener sheet in the Pontiac AND one in TL's jeep? That with the hairs in his Jeep makes me think Caylee may have been in the jeep as others have leaned towards!!!

Any description of the leaves? Oak? what? There were lots of oak trees in and around TL's apt when I drove through there but not many in the A neighborhood (trees didn't seem mature enough).

DVDs seem like a strange place to be looking for a child's prints. We certainly dont let our 2 yr old handle DVDs. Why not look on her toys and books?

There were other hairs found in the trunk of the Pontiac, Art # 16-21, ( hair left side of trunk) How many of these hairs were a match to Caylee, not including the one with the deathband?

I would think possibly that H-52043 is the report from when Jesse did the paternity testing. He agreed to provide a copy of that report.

Okay, the two stains in Tony's vehicle tested positive to the "Ultra lite", meaning they could be bodily fluids. They were tested for blood reaction and that was negative. No evidence was taken from Tony's vehicle for testing.

The DNA testing and Parentage Report we are only suppose to discuss in the parking lot thread. I will simply state that

Casey's DNA is taken by court order on July 17th.
On July 28th the completed Parentage Report is given to the FBI.
On July 29th the actual DNA samples from Casey and Caylee are given to the FBI.

The Anthony's don't give DNA samples until the 8th and 9th of August.
So whatever is contained in that report was not based on those samples.
Not saying they aren't comparing them, but that item number ties to a report completed prior to August.

So I count 7 hair specimens taken from the Jeep but only 5 turned over to FBI? Why would that be? Maybe OCSO tested 2?

Very interesting that so many hairs are found in the back of TL's car but only one hair in the trunk of KC's? I wonder how many are in my trunk just from leaning in all the time?

snipped: From the report I assume that Casey revistied the crime scene or moved the body.

eeek! and there were fabric softener/air freshner sheets in both vehicles right? Maybe that was just to make each car smell lovely? Oh, poor Tony! I'd be selling that vehicle!!!

I don't see anywhere that Tony's vehicle was tested for Decomp, which leads me to believe that either they didn't test for decomp, or the decomp test results were not released.

I wonder if the stains in TL car match those in KC car? I also noticed that those sheets of air freshner were found in both cars. Could it be possible KC moved Caylee's body at some point in TL car?

from MADJ's post above:
<<So, Casey drove Tony's car, Amy's car and her car...nothing was said about Amy's car as of yet. From the report I assume that Casey revistied the crime scene or moved the body.

So the 2 stains in TL's car were negative for presumptive blood test.

And ......the Parentage Test, isn't that possibly JG's DNA report? I am not seeing it's anything concerning LA, right?

Cocoamom-- Explain for me, please:) What are you seeing in the report that makes you think that? If the stains tested neg for blood.....? I'm not getting this.

Ok, forgive the ?'s, but I think I need a refresher in "Ultra Lite" testing. Do Bodily fluids and blood test both show a positive?
