2009.06.16 George and Cindy on CBS Early show

The magnitude of CA's feeling of selfcenteredness and ego is stunning.

I think so.

George's account of breakfast with Caylee and seeing her off in the car in NO way hurts the state's case. Computer and cell phone forensics show Casey was in her parent's home the morning and afternoon of June 16, 2008.

George just narrowed the time line. He last saw Caylee at 1 p.m. By 4:30 Casey was with Tony and his roommates. According to them, Casey was happy and normal. Minus Caylee.

MOO
But, if Caylee was killed prior to 1pm on the 16th, GA's story muddies up the timeline and opens up more possibilities as to where Caylee was killed. It also reinforces KC's fabricated story of leaving Caylee with a babysitter on her way to work.

GA knows that he never saw them on that day and he knows that KC was at home when he left for work. He doesn't want to admit that by 2:30 in the afternoon he never laid eyes on Caylee. The implications of that are too strong.

ETA: Of course, if GA ever does admit that he didn't see Caylee that morning, KC has that covered with her 9am-1pm drop off at the babysitter's.

But, George said in the same interview that Cindy told him not to play detective.

George saw Casey go to "work" with Caylee many, many times before June 16 and pretended to believe her (IMO).

If George was in on a cover up, there would have been no reason for Casey to have hidden from him for 31 days. Casey's phone pings and witness testimony show Casey did not go to her parent's house ever after June 16 if she thought they were there.

Well, IMHO GA was MOST CERTAINLY involved in some sort of cover-up. He did in fact, drive KC's car from the inpound lot to his home with it REEKING of HUMAN DECOMP/DEATH. If it wasn't reeking from one of his family members, then it was STILL reeking of SOMEBODY's Death. Didn't that unknown somebody and their family deserve RESPECT?????

I wonder how long after George" placed Caylee in the car," that KC emerged to get in the car? If you get my drift.

You mean how long after the hypothetical phone call/text message/myspace post/general diversion that lasted oh, say, for 30 minutes or more and kept KC from checking on her child? Anyone know what the weather was like that fateful day? Geez, no one need throw GA under the bus, this joker is willing to lie himself right down in the road. I really hate the thought of where they might be going with this;

Sainted KC finds her daughter dead in her vehicle, succumbed to the heat. Her well intentioned but forgetful father having placed Caylee there before he left for work. To protect him and the other members of her family our heroine KC forgives, forgets, and takes about the task of cover up, all in time to freshen up and take in a movie with her new piece.

"In the meantime, Conway and Baez are expected to make several more motions concerning the release of evidence, both to give a new addition to the defense team, death penalty specialist Andrea Lyon, time to prepare for the trial and to spare the "fragile" Anthony's from repeated media reports about their dead granddaughter."

Quote from ABC-

I think it is very interesting how this is worded, illuding to the joining of forces of BC and the defense team in a very public way. Why can't they remain neutral, mourning their daughter in jail and yet also their grandaughter?

I'd like to hear more about what BC said about "I think there is reason to believe there are other people involved....what was there involvement...was it bordering on conspiracy...." BC does not know of any theory that will rule out Casey under the umbrella of suspicion.

I always thought it was Baez that made the decision not to allow the family to visit Casey in jail and it is evident Brad does not agree with this decision.

Was this interview taped and edited or was it live?

My bold: As soon as I heard BC say this, I was thinking "Yes, your clients are involved, and yes, it is a big conspiracy." Made me wonder if he is prepared for JB and Team KC to come after his clients and implicate them. Made me wonder what he already knows!

okay with the anthony's and bc being in the media spotlight all of a sudden. does that mean we're in for another doc dump soon and they're trying to do damage control before we get it?

I understood the five months to have started in July. Although they didn't see Caylee after June 15-16, they didn't believe her to be missing until the middle of July.

The damage control is for the autopsy report that may be released to the public, imo.

A most interesting aspect of C & G and their lawyer seeking national attention on this particular day and month, which is LE's estimation of Caylee's demise, is that it is a tacit agreement on C & G's part that LE is correct.

That's what I think too. It almost sounds to me based on their lawyer's comments that they agree that Casey is involved. And as for that business about Casey taking the stand at her trial ..... WTH did this lawyer smoke for breakfast? Casey taking the stand???? Is he for real?

Well, since everyone has discussed the A's little scripted interview, how about that black leather vest 'ol George was wearing?
Did he go buy a new Harley or will he soon be sporting a black Stetson and trying to be another LP?
Cindy's neck was so loaded with gold chains and charms I lost count.
When this saga began she wore no jewelry, but one year without working seems to have been quite profitable. They are both despicable.

Very good observation.

I tend to agree that in order to tell a story he wants heard, Baez will have to have KC take the stand. However, since she can't tell the truth to save her own soul, this is a poor decision. I cannot wait for the cross examination!

It may be that it will be difficult or impossible to bring reasonable doubt to the evidence against her, i.e. disputing the expert witnesses and results of lab testing. She may have to get on the stand to tell a story.

Ya know, this is one of the many mind-boggling things about this case that just screamed impropriety from the get-go. GA, an ex LEO, and CA, a nurse, both smelled that car at the tow-yard, and yet they TOOK IT HOME!!! No call to 911 then about how the car smelled and they couldn't find their daughter and granddaughter. CA had had some type of contact with KC during the month they were gone, so she knew that she was ok. But, she hadn't been allowed to see or speak to Caylee at all. Why not call 911 right then and there? Why wait until you took the car home, cleaned it up, enlisted the help of a friend to "find" KC, and then hammer at her for a few hours before finally calling LE? SOMEBODY was dead and in that car! Blows my mind!

No lawyer in his right mind would advise her to take the stand. Any prosecuter worth his salt would take every advantage to call her on her lies and totally destroy any story she would put forth.

All I can say right now is my head is killing me from nodding yes so much and I think I have a sudden case of carpal tunnel from clicking the thank you button repeatedly.

Did anyone else hear BC explain that the reason why they don't want the autopsy results released is because they don't want the media speculating for the next year about what the results say? Does this make sense to anyone? If they were released, there wouldn't be ANY speculating...we'd KNOW. spin spin spin
