Kyron Horman's Mother Pleads for Reward Boost--sbm

“I want someone in Terri’s circle to come forward with information,” she said, referring to Terri Horman, Kyron’s stepmother.

“All of the people who are supporting her -- her parents and everything -- that’s great. But why don’t they put their money together and help us increase the reward to help bring Kyron home?" she said. "How about her parents give us $350,000 so we can bring Kyron home?”

After 160 searchers combed Sauvie Island Saturday, crews will continue the hunt for missing 8-year-old Kyron Horman today.

Multnomah County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Lt. Mary Lindstrand said searchers will be back on the island later this morning.

    Recap of yesterday's search:

"They’ve probably gotten a reliable tip or tips is the way I look at it, because they wouldn’t concentrate on this specific area," said a man who lives nearby

Searchers went on horseback, foot and four-wheelers to comb the terrain. Many of the searchers were volunteers and came from across Oregon and Washington to help.

People who live in the area said they were not surprised to see crews back out searching.

"I feel as if he's here somewhere. He's here somewhere. I don't know where, but he's here somewhere," said a woman named Barbara who lives on Sauvie Island.
