Where on earth has she found 50 people who will say nice things about KC? :waitasec:

Or rather, where on earth has she found (only) 50 people who will say incriminating things about Cindy? lol

Thoughts:
Who in God's name is choosing these blouses for KC? Cindy? Wow, maybe Cindy really is going for the old "payback is a *****".

Is there no type of "seasonal wear" in Florida? How hot is it in Florida now? Why choose a short sleeved blouse when it is almost December?

That white haired lady defense attorney reminds me of Ted Kennedy.

Prosecutor LDB is really short - or JA is really tall. Or both.

George found something better to do again today.

KC needs to learn better "court decorum". The smiles and giggles just come off as out of place, IMO. And the female paralegal or intern next to her is being unprofessional in participating in whatever was being discussed, IMO. However, having just read the book written by the Scott Peterson jury and them saying how much his demeanor during the trial influenced them, perhaps it's best to just let KC "be herself".

Reading here: Thanks for counting KC's pulse. Keep up the good work!

No seasonal wear in Florida yet. It has been in the 80's and 90's here but we may need some sweaters by the end of the week... We don't get winter weather here until mid-January.

Snark alert. Cindy must be mad at Casey, as she brought her an ugly orange shirt that matches the jail jumpsuits - yikes.

No George? hmmmm...telling. Not like he has a lot on his plate right now. Maybe off getting another tattoo?

MOO

Mel

Who knows,maybe he found a J.O.B

I think ICA wore orange today for Thanksgiving. Red will be for Christmas - maybe green for St Pat's day. It's her way of keeping up with the holidays.

Thanks to Mitzi,
I am wondering - Could the SA actually subpoena JimL as a witness for evidence he may have?

I've watched too many trials to count via CourtTV and InSession. It's not all that unusual for the defense order their experts not to provide a report. The reason isn't the one given by Baez. Rather, it sends the prosecution running around to get the information in other ways.

In this case, the State will get notes that are not considered work product and that's a good start. Since there won't be many experts testifying, I'm sure Mr. Ashton will be able to get all the information he needs to do the depositions and cross examine at trial.

And yes, the comment from InSession is correct. That question from the prosecution, "And did you write a report?" does not sound the best to the jury. The prosecutor will usually then ask "... and where did you note your conclusions?" The answer is usually, "from my notes". And Ashton will have the notes he can use to impeach the witness.

I think the reason Baez was smirking today was that he thought he'd gotten something over on the State. Wake up, Baez, it's your first rodeo, not theirs!

I timed her pulse and it was 92 beats per minute one time and I checked a second time and it was 88! something the intern was showing her (maybe on a computer screen?) got her heart racing and made her smile.

Maybe the commissary menu for next week?

I attended the hearing today. Holly and Jim L. arrived together, again. Cindy and her "best friend" arrived just before the doors opened around 12:50PM. Cindy was wearing stark white tights with her outfit. She looked like a cheerleader with her pleated short skirt. KC was stone-faced 3/4 of the time. She continues to wear the same gray pants. She seemed to be chained at the ankles. She & Cheney M. talked a couple of times. She wrote a paragraph and showed it to him, not Baez. I did not see her communicate with Baez. She didn't fuss with herself today. At the end when she turned and said hi to someone, it did not appear to be to her mother. M.Nejame came in at the last 10 min. and sat on the prosecution's side. Hornsby was there, Marinade Dave was there. That cute guy from Nancy Grace waited outside - never came in.

I have been following this case from the beginning, but somewhere have lost/forgotten who JimL is and what evidence he may have. Can you or someone tell me or lead me to a link, please.

The minutes...that's MINUTES of her laughing and giggling and seemingly unable to contain herself were unbelievably offensive to me. She has wasted more time and money than she could repay in 50 lifetimes, almost bankrupted TES, and, as we know, murdered her daughter. I just can't fathom it. I really can't. You'd at least think that lawyer she was yucking it up with would know better.

Also noticed she gave Cindy the cold shoulder, Lee wasn't there to support his precious CMA, and George couldn't be bothered to show up to support his "innocent" daughter.

However, wasn't the producer there with Cindy? Could you get any more classless and crass?? I'm nauseated.

Oh my! I didn't see this part with CA. Not a good look at all! I do see Jim L. was there as usual. I wish the state would put him on their witness list and depose and ask, why is he always there, attached to CA's hip. :furious:

Jim L was there, he's right in the screen shot behind CA to the right.

mitzi: I already passed the Scott Peterson book on to a relative, so don't have it right here. I think it was called "We The Jury". Just go to amazon books or alibris and type in "Scott Peterson jury" in the search box. You will bring up the book. I always buy the used books, they are as little as 99 cents plus shipping of $2.99. But this one, I actually picked it up at Goodwill. My Goodwill has a large book dept.

Re: Florida weather and fashion. I understand it can be hot even at this time of year. But Florida is not really the tropics.

I guess what I'm asking is, does clothing never change from a "summer look" to a more "winter look"? As in white and light colors for summer and then khaki or darker hues and perhpas a closed-type shoe for winter months? Just askin"

I've noticed that the professional females look the same as professional females in the north. They are not wearing sleeveless dresses.

Yikes, Cindy needs to avoid wide belts - she's way too short. I'd say she'd look better in a solid color darker-hued top with a V-type neck and perhaps a 3/4 sleeve. Even though she acted like a witch in the Morgan depo, the green V-neck top she wore was flattering to her figure, and was not too "clingy".

And a "reducer" bra would also help the look. Those of us over a certain age (and I am one of them) need to learn that the big bazookas just make us look matronly.

So there are fifty witnesses, but not one statement? WTF?

Maybe Barrett(mitigation expert) wrote down on paper or computer or tape recorded the conversation with the witnesses..?
IIRC After meeting with these people she would then make a trip and visit Casey..I am assuming she had to have something authored to recall in order to talk to Casey about it.

I believe that Casey/Michelle were laughing and giggling with the other intern (male) who arrived late. At the end he walked past and she was still smiling and laughing with him.

Judge Perry at the end said something about wanting to speak with the "corporal??", I wonder was this about Casey wearing the chains again? Casey didn't walk out the door right away, she lingered at the entrance until they had to push her through it, she kept looking back waiting for something.

Some things don't change, Casey still thinks she's in control...sigh.
The jail custodians had to wait at that door for someone to open it or buzz it open. KC was under their escort. She wasn't going anywhere without them.

Yes, we do have winter clothing look in Florida. Today was breezy and rain was expected. It was not a scorching hot day. Most of the women wore long sleeves. Cindy did have a black sweater which she kept on her lap.

1. I thought.."Oh look, Casey is wearing Orange for Thanksgiving and who knows, she may wear red or green in December for Christmas."

2. Today in the Orlando area..High 70's, overcast, light rain at times, warm and a bit humid...(my hair tells that story LOL)

3. Ted Kennedy LOL

4. I agree.

5. Maybe George found himself a Seasonal J.O.B

Amil - glad you could go in person!!!! When the lawyers went to sidebar, could you see what ICA was watching that was sooo intriguing to her??? Was she watching a monitor? She and the brunette were giggling, but not really talking. It seemed like they were watching or reading something. TIA.

Closing this thread.

Please carry on discussing relevant topics from the hearing in the appropriate existing threads or creating new ones where necessary.

Thanks again for those that provided insight today for those unable to watch.

Thanks also to everyone that behaved themselves and gave me less thread cleaning to do later. Much appreciated!
