Jose Baez has said that Anthony has been in Florida for a week, Fox News’ Rivera told WOFL-Channel 35.

WFTV-Channel 9’s Kathi Belich said it’s not likely Anthony will report for probation in Orlando. “There are 156 probation offices across the state, and the Department of Corrections says it won’t disclose the one the convicted felon chooses, because it will have to be in the Florida county where she plans to live,” Belich said.

Attorney Richard Hornsby, a legal analyst for WESH, praised prosecutors for the way they’re going about getting the money. “They are only requesting money they believe was associated with the crimes she was convicted of,” Hornsby told Kealing. Anthony was convicted of four counts of lying to law enforcement.

Anthony can go to any office in the state. She can also ask to serve the probation in another state.
It's not an uncommon thing. The Department of Corrections tells News 13's Jacqueline Fell last month 6,579 people had their probation transferred.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Casey Anthony, who has stayed out of sight since a jury acquitted her of killing her daughter, reported Wednesday to Florida authorities to begin serving a one-year probation on an unrelated check fraud conviction, officials said.
The 25-year-old did come in late Wednesday night, but the Florida Department of Corrections offered no more details including where she is. There are 156 probation offices across the state.
The Department of Corrections will be making a statement regarding Casey's probation status later Thursday. But, given the threats against her and security concerns, the statement is not expected to be very revealing.

WKMG-Channel 6’s fine investigative reporter Tony Pipitone struck an unfamiliar pose tonight: He editorialized about “Casey Anthony’s double secret probation.”

Then Pipitone revealed that he has a future as an editorial writer. He sounded off: “Other than concealing her whereabouts, keeping her probation officer’s name and gender secret, not requiring her to seek employment and keeping an office open late last night so she could meet her officer undetected, DOC says Casey Anthony is being treated like every other probationer.”

What does that mean? WKMG has put in a public records request asking for the documents about Anthony’s probation officer, where she reports and her educational efforts, Pipitone said in an interview.

“He says he doesn’t want to go through with the book,” the source said. “There were serious talks for four or five weeks.”

Another source had said that Lazzaro hoped that Pulitzer Prize winner Jane Healy, formerly a top manager at the Orlando Sentinel, would write the book.

Jeff Ashton confirms Casey Anthony book

Listings for book titled "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony" started appearing on websites Saturday.

Former Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton, the veteran prosecutor who gained national notoriety during Casey Anthony's murder trial, confirmed he has agreed to write a book about the case.

Reached by phone late Saturday, Ashton confirmed what had until then been Internet rumors. Those began when a mysterious listing began popping up on popular book websites.

The internet was abuzz after listings appeared on Amazon.ca and bookseller Barnes & Noble's website, offering pre-orders for "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony," with Ashton listed as author.

"I wasn't aware that it was going to go online today," Ashton said. He declined to discuss the format or content of the book on when reached by a Sentinel reporter on Saturday.
