#1. The Alicia McCormick murder. The killer had killed before he killed another woman in 1986 and was sentenced to 5 to 18 years in prison, he also had a history of forging checks and burglary, but got out in 1990 and was transferred to a work release program in Charleston wv. However he violated rules and was fired from outside jobs multiple times. In 1991 he met the victim while working as a Maintenance man in her apartment, he later stabbed her to death. He was briefly profiled on americas most wanted in a short segment in the YouTube link below. Just shows how stupid the Justice system was and still is,
#2. Dale Edward Guthrie. In nitro wv in 1993 He stabbed his co worker and friend to death in the kitchen of a restaurant, after the victim apparently was taking horseplay too far by hitting him with a dishtowel. It’s hard to feel sorry for the killer in this case he’s a murderer, however the victim in my opinion was not all innocent and that’s what kind of bothers me it seems like he instigated it.
#3. Karl Dietz. In 1987, he Met a woman at a bar in Huntington wv. they went back to a house where he apparently strangled her with his bathrobe. He claimed self defense that the victim tried to attack him with a knife, according to the file an earring was found in the victims vagina, however he was able to walk free. Another Bunch of bs.
State v. Dietz
Anybody from my state that lived in the 80s or 90s remember some of these cases? I was born in 99 I was not around in the 80s or for most of the 90s.
