In the interest of accuracy, I'd say it sounds like psuedo left-wing verbiage.

Possible yes. Probable? - very very low probability.

That is the truth right there. Thing is they would have some kind of ordinance agaist it. Did you know you cannot pant an unaauthrized tree in Boulder. There are laws on everything including the fact you cannot own a pet in Boulder you must become their legal guardian and lifetime caretaker.

Actually, it also sounds pretty right-wing also.... to talk about companies that "serve the United States."

For example, I'd think of private corporations like Blackwater or Halliburton or even airlines.... they all 'serve' the US.

Sorry.... I just can't believe that any 'foreign faction' (or even domestic faction!) would zero in on little Jonbenet to send a message to the United States of America... because we already know... this 'intruder' had nothing against John OR his business personally.... just the country it serves.

    Ridiculous. Beyond ridiculous.

    Take another look...

you have to discount the KIDNAPPING also....

instead of grabbing the intended victim & leaving the house & succeeding at this very simple task.....

he decided.... the hell with what the 'small foreign faction has carefully planned'...... I think I'll just stop to have a little tea party & then mosey on down to the basement for some sex & bondage games.

The other 'gentleman' are probably watching tv or sleeping & I'm sure they won't mind if I'm a couple of hours late.

Oh yeah..... this is some dedicated "small foreign faction." All I can say is that the group they split from is very LUCKY to be rid of these bungling idiots. lol

Bungling idiots is an understatement for child murderers. How you choose to characterize child killers is your business. I characterize anyone who places a garrote around a 6 year old girl's neck and tightens it as something besides a 'bungling idiot'. More like a brutal, violent psychopath, but thats JMO.

Next you'll be trying to convince everyone that it was 'never really tightened'. What a ridiculous suggestion THAT is. Talk about not seeing what is right in front of you.

I don't know what political system you're in, but normally, right wing conservatives want a smaller government, and more autonomy for private businesses.

I'll ask you the same question I asked SD: In what type of society does a business 'serve' a country?

exactly why the 'RN' was so long...it wasn't a real KN,and the R's had excuses and explanations they HAD to throw in! There was obviously no time for kindergarten cut n paste with such a wordy note. The crossed out words and mistakes are the dead giveaway for that,as well as the rather LATE time of the 911 call,in accordance w their previous plans. There is NO WAY I would believe they would have been so lax about time with such an early take-off.they never would have made it to the airport on time.(yes,I know it was a private plane, but still, they were meeting up w the older kids, and also had the flight plan that was filed to think about).JR as a pilot would never have been so slack about that,IMO.

I see you didn't understand what I said.... so I'll repeat it.....

this small foreign faction had a goal..... they did not set out to be child killers.... they were KIDNAPPING a child. Whatever they might have wanted to do AFTERWARDS, is beside the point... the GOAL was to kidnap the victim.

Kidnappers. Bungling idiots. They're much better at tea parties & bondage games, that's painfully obvious.

    I already answered your question.

Blackwater, Halliburton, airlines..... any corporation that might have contracts WITH a country's government would be 'serving' the government. Your 'socialist' theory is a very weak theory..... and 'the country it serves' does NOT automatically point to someone who must be FOREIGN.

If you must know, I'm with Chrishope: it's pseudo-left-wing verbiage. It's someone who is trying to write like they think a person like that would sound, as opposed to the real thing, as I explained previously.

Well, don't butter me up too much. I personally don't see what you see, but I can see how someone could interpret it that way, so I'm just trying to humor you. What I do see is that person is trying to be both a socialist revolutionary AND a right-wing religious terrorist. Can't be both. The Ayatollah of Iran tried.

In what type of society, SD, does a business 'serve' a country?
You might get some argument there, Holdon. My father worked for the General Electric corporation for several years during the Cold War and he always viewed his work as serving his country. But since you insist on seeing political maneuvering where there most likely is none (and refuse to see it where it's slapping us all in the face), there's a difference between business being PART of the government, such as in communism, and merely seving it, as in fascism.

And for the tally books, it's not "arbitrary" to discount the whole note. Ron Walker, an ace FBI profiler, did so when he first laid eyes on it. It didn't fool him, and it doesn't fool me.

Let me be even more frank: just because we agree the noose was tightened doesn't mean the person who did it is a psychopath, since they most likely thought JB was dead already and wanted to make it look good. That's not just my opinion:

Norm Early is a former Denver District Attorney. About the noose, he said, "when you stage strangulation, you don't want the coroner to come back and say, 'oh, this couldn't have really killed somebody.' So you pull it deeper and deeper."

Add to that: Werner Spitz is a forensic pathologist with 40+ years experience. He said, "someone took a great deal of time to stage strangulation and sexual assault after she was unconscious."

    Isn't that interesting?

Its a crock. A fiction, somebody just made up to make RDI work. It never washed with me, because I'm a realist. To believe that JBR was anything besides sexually assaulted and strangled is to circumvent the obvious without any reason to do so, other than to promote RDI itself. It may have made sense at the time, but now it appears as clinging to an aged, officially unsupported, and obsolete idea. Its time to move on.

See, HOTYH, this is one of those times that you should concede a point rather than suggest something ridiculous, like "Its a crock. A fiction, somebody just made up to make RDI work." WTH? :waitasec: Werner Spitz made it up because, uh, why? What was his motive to set aside his professionalism and advocate for, what? "an obsolete idea?"

It's time for you move on, Ms Paugh....

You have got to be kidding me. These men are professionals. They, and the army of other professionals behind me, have absolutely no reason to "make anything work," other than the truth. They see what they see. I'm not the one who's circumventing anything.

Give me a break. These guys know what a real sexual assault and a real strangulation looks like, and they know what a fake sexual assault and fake strangulation look like. How many have you seen? They have no reason to "promote" anything.

Officially unsupported because the DA won't read the damn case file.

    Obsolete? Hardly.

    Its time to move on.
Not one step back.

    Well said, sandraladeda.

You don't have an army of professionals behind you, that are ready, willing, or able to make RDI work.

The idea of a socialist author is very very strong. In the RN author's own words, a good 'business' would not serve the US, and a good 'JR' would not be a 'fat cat'. This is true of a socialist. A good socialist business in fact would not serve the US, and a good socialist business leader would not be a 'fat cat'. This isn't that hard of a concept, but it may be too much for this crowd.

You want me to name them? And they don't have to try to make RDI work; their findings speak for themselves.

It's not too much for us. We just refuse to be taken in by such a cheap and obvious attempt at misdirection. Like Gregg McCrary (that's one!) says, "when handed a lie, look the opposite way to find the truth."

And you still haven't answered sandraladeda's question: what motive would these professionals have?
