This doesn't match what was reported as his testimony, reported at KK's pretrial hearing and again Aug 2024.

We have Det Vido's words, please quote them to show he is talking about the Wabash River search.

If more information is revealed later, it may clear this up. But for now, I don't see him stating what you claim.

I never said that the Wabash search was not due to a possible connection to the Delphi murders, so I don't need to convinced of it.

I got this information from someone who actually attended the hearing. I will message you the link because they are not an approved source here.

However, The Murder Sheet, approves them and they have had this individual on their show too.

Here is the link from The Murder Sheet show. His name is Aspen Conner and he attended the hearings and took copious notes. Once I locate the video where he talks about Vido's testimony, I will message it to you @NoSpoonFeeding

If there were anything at all to this, the DT would have went with KK as their "SODDI" defense to begin with, yet they didn't.
This is my exact point.

In my opinion KK and his dad were the obvious soddi defense, in my opinion there is a reason the defense refused to even mention the guy that is in prison right now for 40 years for grooming children and was in contact with Libby that day.

In my opinion he is one of other actors the prosecution was speaking of and going in that direction to start would have hurt the defenses case.

I supplied the link and information that the original poster used to base the statement. Until the transcript of Det Vido's testimony is available, I don't claim to know exactly what he said. I asked for you to look at the same news articles, which were the "source" of the claim and quote Det VIdo.

I'm not going to go back and forth trying to see who quoted Vido correctly.

Why is this so important when Det Vido testified that KK's so called confessions were disproven?
I don't need to be convinced about anything to do with the Wabash search.

They wanted to go after KK all along, so they brought up Odinism, Runes, Sticks and Sacrifices?

I have a genuine question for people that believe RA’s confessions:

Do you also believe his confession about shooting the girls in the back?

MOO

I believe it was determined at the three day hearing that RA never said that. The guy who was in charge of all the recordings I believe said he never heard that said.
I will say that even if RA did say that, it wouldn’t wipe away the all the other confessions, some of which contain specific unpublicized details of the crime.

That's what I recall as well. I believe Harshman testified he never heard that statement from RA.

I think I've used this example before, but I'll repeat it.

Franklin Delano Floyd told half a dozen completely different versions of how he killed Michael Hughes, each one brutal, sadistic, and cruel.

We have no idea which, if any, were the truth, as Michael's body was never found.

I don't have any doubt he killed him, despite the variation in method in his accounts meaning there is no way they could all be true.

Sadistic child killers lie, and they fantasise. And sometimes, their sadism expresses itself in telling a horrific lie about the method of a real murder to shock and disgust a listener.

No they didn’t want to go after KK at all. That’s my point, they never wanted to have to resort to pointing in this direction but are doing so as a last ditch effort.

As I said before the defense sees the writing on the wall and instead of a SODDI defense they are moving to a SODDIT (Some Other Dude Did It Too) defense.

It has never been established that RA made this statement.
DT floated this theory in one of their motions but it was not evidenced in testimony during the hearings specifically held regarding RA’s confessions.

Harshman’s testimony from the hearing was linked a few pages back.

As well as here

All my opinion

Posted numerous times in previous threads, but may as well get it into this thread as well. There has been no testimony that RA was ever overheard making such a confession.

Harshman Testimony under Oath:

Q: Okay. You ever hear him say that he shot the two girls?
A: That he shot them?
Q: Yeah. In the back.
A: I don’t know that I heard him say it. I don’t – I understand what you’re talking about and I don’t know – I don’t think that’s something that I heard him say. I don’t know if that came out of an interview from somebody or not, I would have to check and see.
Q: That –
A: I just don’t know.
Q: -- sounds like something you heard during the course of the investigation;
right?
A: I’ve heard that somewhere, but –
Q: And that he molested them; right?
A: That I don’t know. Sorry.

Harshman Testimony under Oath:
Just because Harshman didn’t hear him say this doesn’t mean he didn’t say it.

The defense wouldn’t openly lie in a motion to the court about that being one of his confessions. Imo

Thank you and others for posting this. I was looking it up again to post when I saw you and several others already commented. WE have went over there so many times and I don't know why this gets stated as fact. This idea that he said he shot the girls came from the defense and it is not established as fact from any hearing. The opposite was stated in testimony at the 3 day hearing.

An inmate or someone else might have said RA told them this but wouldn't that be hearsay?

I am far more interested in RA's direct confessions. Those can be proven through Audio.

RA is in a rough spot. Because:

He can't provide an alibi.
He admitted to being in the near-exact spot within 0 to 43 minutes of AW and LG,reaching the bridge. Significantly closer to 0 minutes if BB's timestamps hold up.
He has a gun, he saved a bullet, a recovered bullet can be linked...
No credible SODDIs to date.
61+ confessions
^BBM / adding:
Thanks to Libby’s video, RA cannot be ruled out on the basis of appearance or voice.

It’s truly amazing that she captured her own killer on audio and video.

May justice prevail.
