There are several parcels that belong to the W family. I think the link highlights the driveway area. jmo

I’m sorry to be replying so late to this, but I was behind and wanted to read remaining posts to make sure no one else has already addressed this.

Isn’t the parcel outlined here the one that was owned at the time of the murders by Ron Logan? It even says his son’s name on the parcel ID.

Safekeeping, one man cell.

RA was a risk to himself, an unknown risk to others and a risk from others.

The Franks Motions included many allegations but that doesn't make them true.

In fact, I see no evidence to support those claims.

I don't know what prison guards make but IMO it's not enough. They had to wash feces off a grown man.

Jails and prisons aren't Airbnbs. They're not pretty. But they aren't on trial, RA is. The prison staff afforded RA every privilege they could in order to counter isolation. His cell had CCTV for monitoring which also protects the prison in terms of liability.

Those videos shown to the jury? The "cage", the spit hood -- the doctor explained his decisions were made in consultation with other doctors; when the jury asked if he'd seen the same videos, he said he was THERE when it was happening tells me that there was no torture, no mistreatment, no medieval rack, just an assembly of staff trying to protect RA from harming himself or anyone else further. Smearing feces, hitting his head -- he was dangerous.

Despite all that, RA provided the details to fill in the questions left by a frenzied crime scene.

He is capable of both chaos and violence.

Which is the face of RA that Abby and Libby saw on 2/13/2017.

Completely out of control.

McLeland says “Libby said someday she is going to help police solve crimes, that’s exactly what she did.”

McLeland ends his rebuttal.

Bravo, Attorney McLeland.

That gave me a big chill. Yes, Libby did! :)

Rozzi tells the jury that they should consider that Carbaugh didn’t see anything.

He says the state has only a few key moments in their timeline:

  1. Feb 13. at 2:13 p.m., the Bridge Guy video.
  2. Feb 13 at 3:56 p.m., Carbaugh sees man walking on 300N.
Rozzi calls Carbaugh’s testimony “worthless.”
He would like them to think that. I think this jury is capable of thinking for themselves.

IMO, I don't think that man would have stuck in SC mind if he was just muddy. You have a group of people, a report of girls going missing and a search party around the time of your sighting. But you don't assume that individual was muddy from searching the creek, you report him as suspicious. Why? Blood would do it. I believe SC.

Out of curiosity how long is the shortest deliberation for a jury to come back with a verdict?

After a quick google search, there was a double homicide that occured in Connecticut. The jury came back in about 6 minutes with a guilty verdict.

I like this, @mrjitty. “We can see the stage directions.”(I had to screenshot it because I have trouble in carrying posts to a new thread).

As someone who has graded thousands upon thousands of essays over 25 years, the rough drafts and then the final versions, I tend to think of the D’s Odinist fanfic as a rough draft that needed a lot of rewriting until it bore no resemblance to its original theme.

IMO, what else is there to believe when suddenly we have Hail Mary inventions——either a murderer (RA) who could escape but elected instead to insert a headphone into a jack, or else a teenager whose dying act was to ensure her headphone was properly inserted?

At this point the defense has apparently disposed of the entire original manuscript.

There have been multiple posts explicating the means by which our phones can be quirky when moist. Many of us have experienced this ourselves.

One would have to be clairvoyant to “see” some phantom human hand physically attaching headphones to a phone that is actually collateral damage from a gruesome, bloody murder.

yes! For instance the D has known all along that libbys phone received the text from grandma so can’t have been turned off. yet they promoted the idea the phone was off when the girls were supposedly taken away in a car and turned back on at 4.30am

why did they knowingly misrepresent this?

like you say it’s the earlier draft of a hoax

Judge Gull now lays out expectations for those outside the deliberation room. She says the attorneys need to be within 5 minutes of the court room. She says if the jury needs to see evidence, all attorneys will be invited.

Gull says that Allen will be brought in if the jury requests.

She says the jury is picking a foreperson and will go back to their hotel and be back at 9 a.m. She says the jury will not deliberate on Sundays.

She says the jury will deliberate from nine a.m. to four p.m. daily, unless at 4 p.m. they choose to stay and deliberate longer.

Court is off the record at 1:27 p.m. on November 7, 2024.

It is a Logan at the link but you can click around and find the Webers' properties.

Rozzi shows the jury a photo a rack, a medieval torture device. He shows a photo of a thumbscrew. He says these tools are not far from what Allen experienced in solitary confinement.

(Rsbm.)

'Cuz, you know, medieval prisoners had access to mental health services, medicines, defense lawyers, & instant communication with their loved ones during their dungeon time too.

Rozzi sure is having to reach.

This is my opinion only but if this will not be a guilty verdict, there will never be justice for Abby and Libby.

Im hoping and having faith in a guilty verdict.
My heart is with the families of Abby and Libby.
Absolutely. No matter what, only one man will ever stand trial for these murders.

Guilty, they got him.

Not guilty, he’s free. But they’ll never have this amount of evidence against another person.

The cognitive dissonance in believing there’s not enough evidence here but saying there’s enough against someone else, is nothing short of remarkable.

The hero behind the camera.
Libby. View attachment 543659
She had the wits about her to recognize the man meant trouble.

She was brave and started a video.

She looked for a path for them to get away.

She tried to unlock her phone without RA's notice.

She dropped clothes in the creek on purpose. (I'd like to think)

She hid her cell in her shoe.

She tried to run.......

She said someday she is going to help police solve crimes, that’s exactly what she DID.
