BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing man who has not been seen in over a week.

Robby Wilcox, 58, was last seen May 8 at Bubba’s Car Wash in the 9200 block of Parkway East.

Wilcox is described as being 5-foot-7 and weighing 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt with blue jeans and red, white and blue Nikes.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, you’re asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.

The 9200 block of Parkway East appears to be primarily a business area. The MSM report doesn't indicate who reported Robby missing, or who last saw him at the car wash about 10 days ago. Was he alone at the time? If the car wash has any video cameras in use hopefully LE has checked into that.

As often happens in the early stages of these MP cases we have no information regarding his background, family, or relationship situation at the time he went missing.

The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a missing person investigation. The Birmingham Police Department requests assistance from the public on locating the subject in the attached photo. The missing person has been identified as:

Robby Wilcox, (58), B/F, of Birmingham, Alabama. 5’7 175 pounds. Robby Wilcox was last seen on Sunday, May 8, 2021, at Bubba’s Car Wash located at 9221 Parkway East Birmingham, AL. Mr. Wilcox was last seen wearing: Gray t-shirt, blue jeans and Nike Air Max’s(red, white, and blue in color). He does not have any mental disorders and is not assumed to be violent.
