Former residents indicted on capital murder charges

A Henry County, Ala., grand jury has returned indictments against three former Clinton County residents in connection with the disappearance and suspected murder of 25-year-old Victor Sanchez of Abbeville, Ala.
Robert “Robby” Burns, 28, and his sister, Jessica Lynn Wilson, 19, each were indicted on capital murder. Their mother, Tamara Lynn Burns Wilson, 46, was indicted on a charge of conspiracy to capital murder. Jessica Wilson is the common-law wife of the reported victim.
All three remain in jail at Abbeville, Ala., the community where the suspected murder took place around midnight of March 23, said Tim Ingram, an Abbeville police investigator.
The U.S. Marshal’s Office continues efforts to take a fourth suspect, Victor Solorzano, 27 into custody. Solorzano and Burns reportedly both traveled to Mexico by bus after the alleged murder.
Human remains were recently found in Seminole County, Ga., only a few miles from Abbeville, Ingram reported. DNA tests are being conducted, but indications so far are that the body is not that of Sanchez.
Ingram believes that Burns and Solorzano dumped Sanchez’s body and that the search has been unsuccessful so far because Henry County is rural and remote.
Police suspect that Sanchez was killed outside his residence in a mobile home park at Abbeville. Tamara Wilson allegedly helped Burns and Solorzano escape by driving them over the state line. Jessica Wilson allegedly remained behind and made a false police report that her husband was missing.

Abbeville, AL (WSFA) – Wednesday, crews in Abbeville finished a second day of excavating the possible grave of a murder victim.

Victor Sanchez was killed at Robert's Trailer Park back in March 2009, and his body was never found.

His brother-in-law, wife, and mother-in-law are charged with his murder.

Police say his brother-in-law told them where to look for the body in hopes of striking a deal with prosecutors.

A trial, that was supposed to start this week, is now on hold.
