(RollingStone.com) -- There was no shortage of drama on Alanis Morissette's debut, "Jagged Little Pill."

So much so that the singer is expanding her 1995 LP into a Broadway musical that will encompass all the songs on the album, as well as other tracks from her catalog and new original tunes she will compose for the stage.

Tony and Pulitzer winner Tom Kitt, who worked on Green Day's "American Idiot" musical, will provide orchestration and arrangements for the musical, also called "Jagged Little Pill," and Broadway veteran Vivek J. Tiwary will produce the musical with Arvind Ethan David.

"Jagged Little Pill" is expected to debut as a workshop production next year....

I wonder if Dave Coulier will get a part in the show? :waitasec:

He seems okay with joking about it all now...I don't know if you're a fan of How I Met Your Mother, but there was an episode last seasn where a character, as a former Canadian teen pop singer, writes a song similar to one you'd find on Jagged Little Pill-here it is:

The former singer is on an episode of Behind the Music, and everyone is trying to figure out who the song is about...there's a clip of Dave Coulier being asked about it, and he says, "No, the song is not about me-why does everybody keep asking me that?" :floorlaugh: ...I wish I could find the clip from the show
