Gone From My Sight

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone"

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

And that is dying...

Wow, AJ has captured hearts from all over the world. Burning a scented candle for AJ tonight here in Europe, sending love and comfort to everyone in memory of the beautiful AJ.

Although not yet a fully fledged poster, I do read every post and see every photo regarding AJ. May justice follow swiftly.

Spring has finally arrived in the Northern Green Mountains of Vermont. I took a lovely walk through the woods with friends, listening to birds singing and brooks babbling, admiring the tiny buds on trees and flowers unfurling their leaves to poke through old maple leaves, and feeling the kiss of a soft breeze as it rustled through the pine boughs. I hope that all who loved Anjelica can find peace in moments like this. When we weep, the Earth embraces us, for we are but one.

With much love from the border of Vermont and Canada.

Well energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transferred. I am sure that AJ's energy has been transferred to every beautiful new bud and bloom, and floats on the breeze.:spring::spring:
