On Dec. 6, SCSD made a Facebook post referring to a woman who is missing from Sevier County, Arkansas. Kayla M. Stephens (Vanhoutan), 40, was last seen in Horatio, Arkansas in a 2003 black Chevy pickup with Ark. tag # USAAJDD.

Accordingly, her last stated location was meeting her boyfriend Tim “T.D.” Hendrix in Ashdown, Ark. for lunch on Oct. 30. Stephens has not spoken to her family since that day.

Stephens is described as having brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5′7″ tall and weighs around 165 lbs.

If I read this correctly, Kayla was last seen on 30 October but she wasn't reported as missing until 6 December.

Very little information to go on here so far, but several obvious questions to ask, including:

- Does Kayla have any known history of substance abuse or other MH issues?
- Why did it take over a month to report Kayla as missing?
- Does Kayla have any previous history of disappearing?
- Any known issues between Kayla and her BF?
- Is her BF also missing? If not, has he been interviewed by local LE?
- Does Kayla have a cell phone?

Ashdown, AK is very close to the Texas border. Does Kayla have any places in that general area that she frequents?

@PommyMommy thanks for the update. Based on the wording of that MSM post it appears the Sheriff's Department believes foul play may have been involved in Kayla's disappearance. No details were provided about why they believe that.

Do we know that Kayla did in fact meet her BF that day? Did anyone visiting or working at the restaurant actually see them together?

Based on the above quote it's not clear how, or if, the owner of this red Ford pickup truck might be involved in her disappearance, or what significance the residence in Texarkana might have in this situation.
