bringing that quote up, because if you start searching namus, you will find a little 6-yr old that was abducted back in 1995 in Alma, AR
O/T NamUs MP #1 is in the neighboring county along the river...thought that was interesting that it case #1
NamUs profile (already):

******can a mod add the new info to title thread pls and TY
lists no missing persons at this time but there is an old MP from Van Buren
Age is good, height within two inches.
Two MP's from nearby Fort Smith:
Age is a match, height is two inches off.
Gerald Bingham is probably too old but height is exact. Poteau and Cavanal Mountain are about 50 min away.
Those all look good on a quick perusal.
Some new info:
Remnants of a red carhart bib overalls
1 green lighter
Some teeth missing post or ante mortem.
Dental work includes:
#2 MOL amalgam, #3 OL amalgam-B missing, #5 DL half broken off, #11 I composite, #15 BO amalgam, #16 O amalgam, #18 & #19 O amalgam, #30 & #31 O amalgam, and #32 O amalgam-DL missing.
Serrano Salvador: Another Fort Smith MP who is listed as white Hispanic/Latino and is three years younger than the age range. His height is exactly 68 inches. He was last seen with his wife who was later found floating down the Arkansas River. I can think of a couple of scenarios in which one spouse would end up dead in the river and another on an island in the same river.
Junior McCormick missing from Fort Smith is a little young as well
Missing from Pocola, Oklahoma, about 22 miles away, Kenneth Weaver:
Age and height both match.
Flint Flory, missing about 40 miles away in Bokoshe, OK. Age slightly off, height within an inch. He wears bib overalls in his photo although they're not orange.
I like Serrano Salvador as a possibility. They could have been boating, fishing, fighting on a bridge or beside the water -- as you say, several scenarios.
I'm not sure how they'd identify him if it is, though. He doesn't seem to have DNA, fingerprints, or dentals.
There are now 23 rule-outs on the list. Gregory Nicely has been ruled out.
Larry Lacy, age 34, 5'9" tall, went missing from Van Buren in July 2012; is that enough time to be that decomposed? Surely he would have been an obvious one to check, but he's not on the rule-out list. Ah, I see, no DNA for him yet, and no dentals available.
They have narrowed the age range to 30-45. He has dentals and DNA, and a spiffy reconstruction that is credited to the FBI.
No new names on the ruleouts list:

Lacy now has DNA initial inquiry under way, so hopefully they'll have it soon.
He has a pretty fair resemblance to the reconstruction. The cheekbones seem wrong, but the hooded eyes and the chin are a good match.
Larry Lacy is still not on the rule out list. I wonder what is taking so long?
Separate names with a comma.
