I think he might have just gone to the airport and asked what last minute tickets there were available. Ive done that before with friends, you can get a really cheap ticket that way. Especially if your not picky about a destination...

About the one way or return tickets. Sounds weird but most of the times return tickets are cheaper than oneways. Airliners dont like to sell oneways.

Since it was so obscure, I was wondering if there were any murders there. I'm surprised there's no rebuttal to this poor review.

Umm, the fact that he had no other skills? Quick and easy cash. A lot quicker and easier than dealing drugs.

You're right, you're right... I thought of those things, too. I'm only hung up on the odd amount of detail this guy included. Possibly an oddball himself.

I do think it's in the realm of possibilities that LM posted the negative review. However we tend to jump on LM with regards to pathologizing him given the gravity of his crimes....the client in this situation could be pretty messed up too. I mean, the dude spent $1200 for a few days of companionship for someone half his age. Why couldn't this client just be messed up too...and over the weekend and time spent used the personal info he learned of LM to write a vindictive review. He "purchased" LM and didn't like what he got for his money, so perhaps he retaliated by posting the negative review as to attack LM where it counts...possibly discouraging others from buying his services.

IDK, but what an odd thing to be associated with LM. Maybe BB is the guy who wrote the poor review, and he is oddly obsessed with Luka? He seemed to know quite a few of LM's names. Perhaps he couldn't get over the rejection? Not a stretch to think he had crazies interested in him even before the murder. WTF would pay $1200 for some escort in the first place? I'd get a 6 pack and magazine before blowing that kind of ca$h.

Yeah, I'm sure LRM hated that reviewer with the heat of a thousand dying suns. :D

to Thedissent:

about that return ticket, it was mentioned here on the forums ( before it was split up in all those subthreads ). Don't know for sure atm if it was an actual statement or an assumption based on the fact that LE mentioned he could be back on Canadian soil.

to Pannekoek:

100% agreed on that ( returns are often cheaper then one ways ), but i don't travel by plane at all ( im scared of flying ) i mostly travel by train or bus and the same rule applies to that! also take in consideration no cancellation costs --> cheaper tickets.

To Mozzmo:
Indeed!!! Spending $1200 for a weekend with a guy half his age, seems that this review writer is messed up too. Or he is extremly loney and despo and didn't like the feel of his own hand/rubber substitude anymore.

To Sunday:

my best bet is that BB mainly want to bash bloglops. I think he was there when the whole FG drama was up and maybe ( i know this is a far leap ) chose the side om LM during that, not with the same username ofcourse. BB makes a real effort to shed a positive light on LM's persona, including him being framed. I even think they have had some contact during a certain period of time. This is all speculation ofcourse, but if you read his comments, it's mainly bashing bloglops and even claiming that he framed LM.
Either he has some personal information about luka ( whether it is up to date or from years back ) or he is a mega-giga-troll

They did have a date re the return ticket, and that is why LE was at the airport en masse one particular day, checking all passengers who disembarked. There were MSM articles, but i'd be hard-pressed to find one at the moment.

RE: the writer of the escort review is messed up

Thats a strange assumption to make. How does acquaring the services of an escort/sex-worker make one messed up. Than half the world population would be. I think the man was actually quite soft on LM. I would have told him to leave.

He lied about his appearence and was allround **** at his job. No wonder the man wrote a bad review... I think its as simple as that...

RE SUNDAY: ‘stool’ freudian slip

It must be. ‘Stool’ actually gives the most accurate description of how I view the essence of LMs being.

Well, we will have to agree to disagree on this one. I agree it could be just a bad review. However, my post was about how we tend to look to LM as always behind things...manipulating, being pathological, when in the review situation it could have been a vindictive client. Seems to me often clients of prostitutes have higher chances of being pathological. This is evidenced in the multiple examples of serial killers turning to prostitutes and why their killing histories often include (sometimes exclusively) women in the sex industry. Additionally, I would like to believe that much less then 50% of the population has spent $1200 for a weekend for a prostitute. In general, at least in the US (I'm not sure about Canada), prostitution is illegal with the exception of brothels in a state or two. Illegal behaviors are at risk for attracting those who are more willing to break laws. IMO, this speaks to an increased risk of acting out in a messed up way in comparison to the general population.

Yeah, it's both thoughtful and bizarre in ways.

You almost feel like the writer is worried for LRM at times, the way he describes how skinny LRM is.

Fascinating. I didn't know that. So, he thought there was too much "heat" to return to Canada on his return date?

I guess that's one advantage to "Googling" yourself constantly-- you'll notice if there is an international manhunt commenced to find you.

It's just odd all the way around. Call it a gut feeling. I can't say it was LM himself, but WTF writes a review like that? It's just not normal thought flow, even if disgruntled. For one, it's much more angry and vindictive - uncovering his real name and other aliases. And including such detail is like indulging in reliving it. Friggin freak.

I think this is true; however, serial killers don't frequent prostitutes for sex, but because they are vulnerable and easy targets. The majority of men frequenting prostitutes are there for sex - it's an addiction, like drugs, gambling, anything else. If the majority were dangerous and/or serial killers, well, the risks would outweigh the benefits and we wouldn't have prostitution. Although IDK how much protection pimps provide. I am guessing it's the independent contractors who get murdered most often.

I disagree...often serial killers are both sex offenders and killers. I used this as an example of how law breakers will be attracted to law breaking activities...it really doesn't matter in the end if there was sex or not. Prostitutes solicit illegally, and that increases the risk associated with the types of persons they attract...serial killers being the most extreme example. In the end, I still think that the bad review given of LM could just be that...a bad review...it could also have been detailed and particularly scathing because the person was twisted himself and acted out harshly and vindictively.

Perhaps they were concerned that LM had Aids, or other conditions?

Although perhaps the least of LRM's many pathos/issues, and although not officially recognized in the DSM (although potentially on the docket for inclusion in the 2013 DSM, one can't help but wonder if "Internet Addiction" played a role in LRM's downward spiral..? http://www.chabad4israel.org/tznius4israel/newdisorder.pdf

Old article, but ...a few snippets...

1. - 7. .......
8. Do you use the Internet as a way of escaping from problems or of relieving a dysphoric mood (e.g., feelings of helplessness, guilt, anxiety, depression)?"Dependents mainly used electronic mail to arrange "dates" to meet on-line
or to keep in touch between real time interactions with new found on-line friends. On-line relationships were often seen as highly intimate, confidential, and less threatening than real lifefriendships and reduced loneliness perceived in the Dependent’s life. Often times, Dependents
preferred their "on-line" friends over their real life relationships due to the ease of anonymous communication and the extent of control in revealing personal information among other on-line
users."

"In many cases, Dependents had been computer illiterate and described how initially they felt intimidated by using such information technology. However, they felt a sense of competency and exhilaration as their technical masteryand navigational ability improved rapidly."

*Bold by me

Also sources cite LRM's "Poker" account and on-line "War Game" (have never seen anything that specifies which game, not sure it matters (?)

Just another spin on this delusional narcissists hollow, self-loathing, "wannabe" personnae?
