Angelzgram, you are so right on being prepared giving one a sense of security and calm. Remember the parable about the 7 wise virgins, who were ready with their lamps filled with oil and the 7 foolish ones, who were not ready? I am not afraid, but I am concerned for the well-being of those who will be caught unprepared. For that reason, it probably isn't wise to tell anyone except your trusted family members that you have been making preparations. But, always be ready to share, if the need is there. For that reason, put aside some extra, for you never know when there will be hungry children in your neighborhood. And, it could be a power outage, a tornado, hurricane, earthquake, or some unforeseen disruption in the normal supply chain to your part of the country.
