Oh my...

This gal has such an endearing smile...

Her parents and brother must be worried sick...

And her son must miss his mum so, so, much!

I hope she is found so that the family can get some answers by Christmas, Carlie's birthday...

:please:

This reminds me of the last CCTV of Novy Chardon, at a service station, went home, then disappeared.

I notice that the area the police have been searching and sampling, on Railway St & Ross Smith Ave, is directly behind the decorative concrete business.

I wonder if people in those houses right there heard something going on that night, which could be why Danny Deacon admitted to a 'fight' and Carlie walking off.

I also wonder if the van and the Rav4, that police are trying to trace the movements of, are Carlie and the partner's vehicles.

Danny Deacon sounds very concerned at how much this affected his business/livelihood. He seems to feel that locals are looking at him for this.

I hope Carlie's son is in a secure environment (maybe the partner has family there?) and is not living in a strange place with a nervous man and no other family to care for him.

Police are also still seeking anyone who may have seen a white Hi-Ace van or late model silver Toyota Rav 4 around the Parap, Stuart Park, Cox Peninsular Road or Berry Springs area on the evening of June 18 or before midday the following day.

Police have quite a specific time frame here. I wonder how they arrived at the before midday on the following day. Is that when Carlie was reported missing?

I am disturbed that the partner's comments are that "this business is stuffing my business up".

I haven't seen anything about being concerned that the mother of his child is missing or how much he misses her. Just seems odd to me.

Probably seems odd to the people of Darwin too. Which is probably why his business 'stuffed up'. Though it could have been stuffing up before, hence working the late hours when Carlie disappeared, and may be why they were fighting.

Oh well, he won't have to worry about that in Perth.

Presumably police have his address and contact details in Perth .. and may even still have his vehicle(s) following forensic testing?

December 18

"Carlie Sinclair was last seen alive by her partner Danny Deacon at their business premises, ‘Darwin Decorative Concrete’, late in the evening of Tuesday June 18.

Acting on information received early on in the investigation, Detectives and members of the Territory Response Group searched bushland and water courses in the vicinity of Parap, Stuart Park and Berry Springs. A search warrant was also executed at a Parap location, with soil samples gathered.

Then on the same night......

July 17th, 2013

Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Henrys has revealed police in the past 48 hours have received information about a small 4WD seen between 11pm and 11.30pm on Tuesday, June 18 near the corner of Livingston Rd and Stuart Hwy at Acacia Hills.

Distance between concrete business in Parap and where the small 4WD was seen on the same night near the corner of Livingston Rd and Stuart Hwy at Acacia Hills.

I included Berry Springs in this map. ("Detectives and members of the Territory Response Group searched bushland and water courses in the vicinity of Parap, Stuart Park and Berry Springs")

I see he's found concreting work in Perth. He's most likely in contact with the NT police because he "said police were unable to tell him the extent of their work." imo

September 27th, 2013

"Everyone thinks I've done the worst," he said.

"I've gotten used to it.

"That's the reason I've come down here."

Mr Deacon had been critical of the pace of the investigation but said police were unable to tell him the extent of their work.

He has found concreting work in Perth.

'Call home' plea to missing mum

June 26th, 2013

THE family of a young mum who has been missing for more than a week is pleading for the public to help find her.

Her mother Marlene Sinclair said it was completely out of character as her daughter was very attached to her son, Alex.

"Since Carlie has had Alex they have been virtually joined at the hip," she said.

"I think there has only been one night that she has been apart from him before last Tuesday."

Ms Sinclair made a public plea to her daughter yesterday.

"Carlie, if you can see this can you please call home. We are frightened for you. We are just scared to death. Alex is missing you," she said.

"We need you to call me, call somebody, call the police, just walk into the nearest police station, no dramas, just come home."

This is a very telling statement .. spot the missing name.

Every tiny shred of information is being thoroughly examined,” said Detective Sergeant Henrys. “Somebody knows something. Somebody has the vital piece of information that will help us piece together this suspicious disappearance, and find some justice for Carlie, her parents, and her two-year-old son, Alex."

I was coming to check to see if there was a thread for Carlie, do I'm happy to see it up the top.

It surprises me that there aren't more posters around and most people don't know anything about her. I feel awful that she hasn't been found and that there doesn't seem to be much attention for her.

Unfortunately with the landscape of the NT and our waterways, there are so many places she could be.

I truly hope she comes home safe and sound, but, I don't think she will.

I was just looking at the map that enzeder posted of where the small 4 wheel drive vehicle was seen ..

http://goo.gl/maps/4VnXk

It doesn't look far away from Darwin River Dam and Manton Dam, and the surrounding waterways. I'm wondering if this is also croc country?

Frightening thought SouthAussie.

Just did a quick search for Manton Dam..

Manton Dam
"A quiet shallow pool forms at the base of the wall where the overflow water enters the Manto River system again. This used to be a good spot to bring the kids for a swim, but the growth in crocodile numbers has put a halt to that." - See more at: http://www.enjoy-darwin.com/manton-dam.html#sthash.YAmhXOTP.dpuf

Well, he hasn't been around or part of the investigation. Disappeared to Perth pretty quick smart. He has dissociated himself from the family. Do we know where the son is?
Did he just up and leave his business? You would think he would try and make the business pay while he looked for a buyer. Not just up and leave it all.

BBM - He took the son to Perth with him.

September 27th, 2013

"Partner Danny Deacon, who has temporarily moved with the couple's two-year-old son Alex to Perth, said he was told she was no longer a missing person."

He said he was told by a friend that Carlie was no longer missing person. Don't tell me he didn't contact police to verify it. Doesn't sound like he is being proactive in finding out where the case is going. If that was me I would be hounding the police for information.

I certainly hope that the police know where he is at all times!. I'm actually surprised that he was allowed to leave the area and move to Perth.

"They're treating it as homicide, not treating it as a missing person any more.

"I heard that from a friend a few days ago."

Given they have a concrete business, plus we know officers were taking samples, I'd surely think they'd have the nearby waters searched wouldn't they? Did I miss hearing that's been done? I guess I just immediately think about Laci Peterson.
