So, there were only MSM articles about Charlene, two weeks AFTER she had gone missing, when she went to her ex's place to pick up her 1yo daughter.
Yeah, well we all (as did, apparently, LE) know how this would play out.

RIP lovely Charlene.
Her poor little daughter.

"Her death appears to be non-suspicious however police are still investigating and will be preparing a report for the State Coroner."
Really?! So I guess she decided to go somewhere else besides pick up her daughter? I'm confused

I guess if it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck - sometimes it's a lama?

All i can think of for realistic possibilities don't make sense;
a) suicide - weird to pack a suitcase first
b) drug overdose - no signs of her using in photos

“She loves her daughter more than life itself.
“Her daughter is her world.”
Heartbreaking find after Adelaide mum vanishes while picking up daughter
Police seized items of clothing on a roadside in Bute on Sunday.

Earlier, a neighbour in Bute said she heard screaming coming from the property this week.

“At midnight, I heard her screaming, incoherently. Screaming at the top of her voice, sobbing,” neighbour Cheryl Sawley said.
“Someone was with her trying to calm her down but she was screaming.”

But she's been missing for 2 and a half weeks?

How is this not suspicious, I don't understand!

If her body didn't have any obvious signs of trauma, it seems reasonable for LE to initially describe it as "not suspicious." This doesn't mean it's for sure their final determination. (IMO, layperson view, unfamiliar with Australian LE.)

short of them releasing photos of the scene (which would be highly traumatic to say the least), we just have to trust their word and wait for toxicology test results, autopsy, investigation.

Junkee - Australia Needs An Inquiry Into Missing And Murdered Indigenous Women

On the evening of October 3, police found the body of a 21-year-old woman who had been reported missing for almost three weeks after travelling to pick up her daughter in Bute, a small town on the York Peninsula in South Australia.
[...]
A neighbour in Bute allegedly heard screams coming from the house before Charlene went missing. “I heard her screaming, incoherently. Screaming at the top of her voice, sobbing,” they told 7News. Despite the screams, there haven’t been any reports of people who tried to help her that night.

I typed a transcript of part:

Almost a month earlier, Charlene had traveled to the small town of Bute, north of Adelaide. She had gone to visit her daughter, at her ex partner's house.

"She was happy. She said Mum I'm goin'. I'm gettin' baby. And I'm bringin' her back home."

A week later, she texted her sister from Bute, and asked for an urgent lift back to Adelaide. It was the last time any of her family heard from her.

When her family couldn't reach her they reported her missing. A neighbour reported hearing a disturbance from across the road from where Charlene was staying.

"That lady heard the screaming. From across the road. Could hear the screaming. From what I know."

In the days following, police and emergency services searched the area but didn't find anything. Two weeks later police conducted another search, and found her body 100 meters from where she was staying.

Police say her death was not suspicious, and they are preparing a report for the state coroner. But her family say they have unanswerd questions.

"There's a very lot of things that's just not adding up. And that's what the protest was all about."

About 150 people gathered in Adelaide on the weekend to support the family in their quest for answers.
