Hi Spooks, and all other Websleuthers...have been reading with interest for a long long time but have never wished to comment. Now that I have, I feel that I need to express my deepest sympathy and sorrow to the victims of the crimes discussed on these pages (both living and deceased) and also to their families who will no doubt be grieving forever. To those people who lost their lives RIP.

Hi ESH
Welcome!
And thanks for replying.

If it's too late after the event to obtain any useful test results, the most popular trafficked drug in South Africa is Mandrax. Rivotril is known as the date rape drug in South Africa. Either could stupefy. However, since the story said he was injected, it could be anything, even a veterinary drug.

Good pick up on possibility of a veterinary drug being used to subdue victims. Gives us a new topic to sleuth....

I thought something similar. IMO she could have been chased again and lost control sending her rolling off somewhere along the road. They may have not been looking for the car going in at the right place, as it may only have ended up there. The seat could have been thrown out during the roll over.
With the wild weather all evidence of it going in could have been washed away or they may have ignored as it wasn't where they expected. IMO some police have a habit of getting stuck on a theory and not being open to anything that isn't part of their theory, *cough* certain Macro chief investigator *cough*.

Now you're cooking with gas! Kindov. If car hit a tree at 100km hr one sec after leaving road ( a = 28 m.s.s) the force on the car could have been 31,050 N. It would have left a serious tree shaped dent in point of impact. The rollover at 100km/hr took 4 sec and sum of nine separate forces which spread load on car. Car would not be able to be driven anywhere in either scenario (wheels disabling driving in rollover, not damage to body). However, if a crash happened at Cott, (anywhere on Marine Pde) even early morning, the noise of a crash, and visuals would have been noticed by drivers or residents. Back seat washed up on Monday 20th and car discovered on 22ndJune. Lights on indicating lights were on and had only been in water a matter of hours. It would sink very close to where it went in according to calculatons. Doing a "caporn" and even worse promoting people doing a "caporn" is evident at times.

Just watched a man on Millionaire Hotseat in his chat with Eddie saying he was a suspect in the Claremont Serial Killings! He had been interviewed by Macro! Then Eddie asked if anyone had been charged. WTF?

Whilst we've got some some spare time awaiting the accused's trial, we should get to know one another a bit better, by typing a little bit about ourselves. Such as approximate age range, male or female, occupation and suburb, we live in and interests. Each person to nominate the next... I'd like to nominate Spooks-r-us goes first then Petedavo.....

I haven't been nominated but here's my intro: I have nothing to add as far as sleuthing this case goes, but I have been following the whole CSK case with great interest since JR went missing. I worked alongside JR's dad at the time of her disappearance and it was truly heartbreaking to know that my colleague had lost his daughter in such circumstances. Forgive me if I have nothing to contribute - I just want to see closure for the families and so will follow this case until the end, however long that may take.

Apologies if this has already been answered.
Is MM the only person who has not been identified in the footage with JR?

No one seemed to notice this one until the next morning, and it must've made a noise to leave deep gouges in Marine parade http://www.communitynews.com.au/wes...-crashed-into-sand-dunes-overnight-abandoned/

It's possible the filming of that particular episode of Millionaire Hot Seat may have occurred in 2016 prior to the arrest.

Sorry north of Two Rocks, not Lancelin.

A dramatic two-hour police car chase through Perth's northern coastalsuburbs ended up with an allegedly stolen vehicle ploughing intoheavy waves off Yanchep Beach on Tuesday (6[SUP]th[/SUP] Oct 2015)...
The police helicopter advised officers on the ground the vehicle was onthe beach near Wilbinga, where they closed in.

Look at video in link waves plunging waves initially going over car and the most forceful type of wave.
There are four basic types of breakingwaves: spilling, plunging, collapsing, and surging.
Spilling waves are gentle waves with crests that break softly towards theshore. These waves break when the ocean floor has a gradual slope.
Plunging waves break when the ocean floor is steep or has sudden depthchanges. They can be powerful barrels or enormous close-outs. A collapsing waveis a mix of spilling and plunging waves.
Surging waves are the result of long period swells. As a result, the wave isslow, the faces are smooth and oblique, and the crest barely exists. Thesewaves may not break at all. Breaking waves have a deep trough; surging waves donot.
Plungingwaves break when the ocean floor is steep or has sudden depth changes, which was the case in above video and at Cott especially I summer, resulting in dangerous injures. It wasn't the case on 21/22nd June 1988 where they looked to be spilling.
The direction of force would be low and the 4WD in video would have had fore applied to front and could have expected windows or bonnet to be damaged, but it wasn't.

Here’s my intro…. I’m a middle-aged woman. My husband and I own a small retail business. We have full-time care of our grandchildren, hence the school holiday complaints. My interest in this case: back in 1985 I lived in Huntingdale. During that time I had an incident with a teenager on a pushbike. He was tall and athletic, had dark hair and wore glasses.

No strangely enough the "suspect" Andrew said an arrest had been made a few months ago - I was just surprised Eddie didn't know.

Hi Canning Vale. I'm 31, live in Canberra and have a dog called Anna. I sell Harry Potter memorabilia online.

I have an elderly neighbour who is right into the CSK and he got me interested. He's a farmer who I think has smoked one too many broom handles in his time but his interest is kind of contagious.

A CAR has been abandoned in sand dunes after crashing near the Napier Street carpark in Cottesloe overnight.
“They’ve just gone full tilt and gone over the edge,” Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club patroller Tom Van Beemtold Western Suburbs Weekly....However, there are fears for the health of anyone who may have been in the vehicle.

No damage at all after going full tit over the edge or ,sliding down the recently restored dunes....no worries for anyone inside as the car . No forces at all of any note of the car wasn't a crash with the car hitting a tree or rolling over which would have causded enough noise and damage. Gourges in road, who knows no police report of investigator.

It's the story of the decade - you'd think everyone would know.

Exactly!
Especially a media personality that hosts a quiz show!

Oh well [emoji17]
