A MAN is in custody over the 1973 disappearance of his wife Colleen Adams, after their former family home was the subject of a fresh police search.

Police arrest man over cold case murder

Just wonderful.
Wonder why he fessed up after all this time.
Hope the same happens with Chris Dawson, taking Police to body.

In the drone footage in the link, you can see him showing the detectives where he says his wife is buried.
There was another link somewhere showing pavers being lifted so I hope we hear something soon.

what fantastic footage ...gosh mind blowing us sitting at home watching him point police to where her body is.

funny, I looked at the still pic first and thought bet shes under all that concrete!! boom smack bang in the middle.

hopefully the forensics team can utilize this knowing where she is and do some experiments with the ground penetration radar stuff before they dig her up.

so glad he has given her up.
colleens children can know their mother loved them and didn't abandon them xx

THe pavers were removed yesterday. Seems today is the day the forensic people are said to be coming in.

A local police officer lit this candlelight tribute for Colleen Adams as she guarded her suspected burial site overnight. It burned through until the sun came up this morning. pic.twitter.com/fOjBAMH2NC

Sorry not sure how to post this so the pic shows up.

Colleen Adams daughter has returned to the #Maitland home where her mother is believed to be buried. For 45 years her father told her and her sister their mother walked out on them, but that wasn’t the case. @TenNewsADEL #TenNews

The youngest daughter of Colleen Adams has just arrived at the house she lived in as a child in Maitland. It’s expected the police will read a statement written by her shortly. @abcadelaide

I find myself so angry that he got away with it, that my eyelid is twitching.

And bad me I felt full of hate for him taking away her life.

Lighting that candle was a nice gesture by the police officer.
R.I.P. Colleen.
