The West Australian coroner will hold a hearing into the possible murder of a 12-year-old boy who disappeared from the Kimberley town of Derby almost 40 years ago. James Patrick Taylor, known as Jimmy to his family, left his home to buy a soft drink from the local shop on August 29, 1974 and was never seen again. The family believe he was abducted by convicted child killer James Ryan O'Neill, who was in the isolated Kimberley town at the same time. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-06-...disappearance-of-12-year-old-in-derby/5507742 https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/24189126/search-for-answers-in-40-year-mystery/ Some links to info on O'Neill: http://www.mako.org.au/James-Ryan-O'neill-Child-Killer.html James Ryan O'Neill - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Coincidentally, I just watched the doco made about him, "The Fishermen" the other night. If you can get your hands on it, do watch this. Chilling, chilling stuff to look a child killer in the eye, even through the camera. O'Neill's a suspect in the Beaumont children case too. I have my doubts there, however.
