Yes I was silly not to cotton on to the BC abbrev!

I have thought that too, about the Tapp's. It hasn't had as much public exposure as others... & that is sad :(

I wonder if something else 'big' was happening in the news then? It doesn't seem to make sense how some attract more attention than others... :(

Well, Ronald Reagan's re-election as U.S. President happened on the day Kylie Maybury was murdered and Reagan got reduced to a small column on the side in the front page, while Kylie got the front page headline.

Does anyone recall a documentary some years ago where a female said she saw the beaumont children in her father's car boot? IIRC

I wish someone would give the Tapp murders thread on here the love and care the BC get. God Bless Margaret Christine and Seana Lee Tapp.

I wrote a short story where Arnna - still in her 1966 body - arrives from the Great Beyond for a second chance at life in the 21st century. it was an exercise in exploring themes of life and how people would react to a famous victim of crime returning from the undiscovered country.

Sad to hear that she passed away, without knowing what happened to her children or laying them to rest.
Her life must be have been a living nightmare.

    RIP Mrs Beaumont

I believe whoever took the BC had help. Even the BC's belongings - towels, beach bags etc. were never found. Probably burned in an incinerator.

Nah, he didn’t need help. He had befriended them and they trusted him. They had no reason to think he would do them harm if they went somewhere with him. I’m sure he had them gather their things and promised some kind of adventure and they followed right along willingly.

Why has nothing been done about this? Why hasn’t the well been excavated? Seems a simple thing to check out you know?
