It may not be readily obvious because of the different poses but I see some similar features in these two men's pictures, namely:
Similar hair line and hair texture
Eyes open about the same amount
Similar attached earlobes
A nose the flares towards the bottom
thin lips
A cleft in the chin.

Differences I see:
Kadwill/Feldman appears heavier (could be the angle/pose)
Embla's father has grey hair and more pronounced wrinkles
Slightly different eyebrow line/shape
Glasses, which change the apparent shape of a face

However, 9 years between photos could account for some changes

I hope Mr J continues to try to get his daughter back, assuming he is who he says he is and she is his daughter, Embla. But I also hope the authorities are taking a good look at why "Embla" does not speak Swedish, knows very little Italian after supposedly being in Italy 6 months and speaks English. And she still refuses to go with the people claiming to be her parents according to the most recent articles. I hope the mystery girl is okay and I hope some new leads appear in Leela's case soon.

Regarding Leela , im not seeing her age lining up exactly true yet .
But the fact this girl in rome refuses to go with parents is not so ok and msn said something about the parents divorced many years ago & she had lived with father ?
The father isnt looking the same as kadwell/feltman imo . but how can you tell if they have plastic surgery ? And steal identities

It was noticeable quickly that popic & feltham have similar features & they would certainly pass the low security checks if using the others I.d.

So we have Feltham, Feldman or Felton.

Didn't see this one posted yet--some bones were found near Nannup in 2012, but no word on if they were ever identified. The article brings up this case. Some interesting quotes:

The family and their lodger, Mr Popic, who lived in a caravan on their South-West property, mysteriously vanished, leaving behind wallets, credit cards and dirty plates on the table.

The last suspected sighting was at a Busselton car yard north of Nannup heading towards Perth, where Ms McDougall's car was sold for $4000. The money to this day remains untouched in her bank account.

Ms McDougall's parents, Jim and Cathy McDougall, have not given up hope of finding their daughter and granddaughter safe and well, but remain convinced it was Mr Feldman who persuaded them to disappear.

This is such a complex case I don't know where to start with what could have happened. I can think of at least 3 possible scenarios, probably more, with sub-scenarios:

1. They all went someplace remote and killed themselves and their bodies have yet to be found

2. One of them killed all the others and took off to another country (possibly with Leela or possibly alone)

3. They split up to avoid detection and somehow made it someplace else on false ID's

I vote for your #2 option. My guess is that Feltham/Felton killed Chantelle McDougall & Popic. He may have kept Leela alive if doing so suited his purposes.

So they didn't go to the trouble to subpoena the author's last known, or current address at the time, from Brett Mitchell of Esoteric Publishers? Gee, here you have a missing child, in the alleged custody of a cult leader/known conman, possibly trafficked overseas, maybe even murdered, and not even Child Welfare or the Feds get involved? Leela is just allowed to simply disappear?
