Also why is this creep getting special privileges with the escort to the courthouse. HOW much more of tax payers money is going to be forked out for this creep!

If it means he gets in there and back without 'accidentally' roaming off to the wrong building and being a no-show, or 'falling over' and needing to go to hospital, I'm all for it.

Think of it like this - imagine how much tax payers money would be wasted if he was even one hour late? All those people employed to do their jobs, some of them on hundreds or thousands of dollars per hour.

I just hope that as soon as this inquest is conducted, the criminal forces are looking to arrest him immediately. I wonder if they've even made a voluntarily agreement with his family to stay away from him until the inquest has been conducted? hence he is in this 'respite' place (aka AKA is being watched)?

Why did the Coroner allow him to talk like that? Wouldn’t she require a medical letter? Or is it a good thing, having all his dribble and lies documented?
I’m sure his lawyer probably tendered stuff about his medical conditions (which might exist but are surely exaggerated) yesterday when he asked permission for him to appear via AVL.

This might be a controversial take but I reckon most of us would rather the police take RB to court to give this ‘evidence’ than him not appear and waste even more precious time.

I think the stance of legal professionals and detectives is: let that person keep talking as much as they need to say and only stop them if it becomes absolutely repetitive and nothing new coming forth.

After all, in a world where our criminal justice system relies heavily on a person's verbal statements, it's the 'no comment' strategy that is the most effective in thwarting justice, hence why it's relied upon so heavily.

Also, re the crying, I remember Judge Judy never showing sympathy for the crying people in her court and yelling 'only the guilty ones cry!' and she's right - the guilty ones cry out of self pity when they're busted. Or out of childish frustration. JMO

He and her have already wasted hundreds of thousands of tax payers dollars for the past 40 years

I dont think it was about his own safety factor - more the fact he actually got there on time without some excuse.

Re RB's medical conditions (or not)

Any male of his age is likely to have various completely normal and average risks. I would imagine the stress of this court case could have triggered various anxieties and stressors for him that elevate those risks. There is no legal professional that can violate someone's human right to be kept medically healthy and safe.

JMO but it'll be fascinating to see how he is on video link compared to being in person in the court. Bearing in mind that AKA type folks are master manipulators and have scores of interpersonal micro aggressions and smoke and mirror techniques, it will be interesting to see what methods he uses via video.

I wasn't able to watch 'live' as I was sleeping but have read above and look forward to seeing the video. When people said he'd been a long time in the loo or on a break, I thought 'here we go, exactly as predicted'. People like him will do *anything* to evade and I was fully expecting to read he had fallen in the bathroom or suchlike.

I'm guessing AKA doesn't want to be taken to a hospital and laid up in bed or any type of psychiatric facility. So, he's got to tread fine lines with his acting skills - to my assessment he is currently evading:

- the civil justice system
- the criminal justice system
- international police forces
- watching his back for friends and family members of the scammed
- watching his back for journalists and press
- watching his back for sleuths (and also potential stalkers)
- fending off questions from his own friends, family, neighbours
- fending off questions from people he's scammed in other ways over the years
- assuring other criminals (fences, bent cops or such) he's dealt with that they won't be exposed

he's also got to do a performance that is enough to keep everyone worried he may actually have a stroke / heart attack / fit / fall / mental break... whilst not in a manner that is convincing enough or real enough to have himself mandatory 'assisted' or sectioned and removed to a hospital. He's got a lot on his mind LOL.

Ok, slowly going through the inquest..... at the 4:30:09 mark, and say the previous 10 - 15 mins, does it look like Kim Burke and Mr White/Wright are colluding? I know I am no court expert, but they way they were comparing notes, had the same objection to SL's lawyers question! It made me stop and think.... I found it very interesting.

Did anyone else pick up on the fact AKA claims he disposed of his family jewels (no pun intended) when opening a safety deposit box at the Commonwealth bank to store his deeds, etc about 4:13 in the inquest?
Question… wouldn’t this be yet another thing that would have to be declared to Centrelink?

Brilliant, Yes!

Plenty of opportunities for theft and conning in Respite care. As someone here has already pointed out. If I worked there, or was a resident there (or their families) I’d want warning. Which I know probably isn’t allowed under law/s. Scarey.

That was all BS
