Indemnity from prosecution possible for any accomplice, not having committed the crime, who first comes forward with info. #NovyChardon

We believe there are people in the community who know what happened to Mrs Chardon. A $250,000 reward remains current. #NovyChardon

Unless there was -another- massive hydroponic pot farm raided "recently" in Advancetown, I'm going to assume this is the same property as the one just searched.

Can Babbington be directly linked to a biker gang?

I'm even more sure now that Chardon was in on this multimillion dollar 'business' up to his fat neck.

    Oh ... nothing yet. :sigh:

Don't worry, they'll find you Novy. They are not going to stop looking.

I wonder if someone gave an informant some bad info, after going to court for the hydroponics raid last year.

Misleading info, or perhaps based on a witness being taken to a large Hinterland property and not knowing where?
Seems the police are connecting the dots together. The circle seems to be getting wider but I have faith they will find Novy. That reward (and indemnity) is too tempting to let sit for long. These are scumbags, after all, who would do anything for easy money.

    Novy Chardon investigation increasingly strange

Ms Coulter's mother Loreto Patricia Sheerin, also known as Loretta Sheerin, is not a person of interest in the case, police say

But David Babbington, an associate of John Chardon's, is.

Ms Sheerin and Mr Babbington share the same Gold Coast lawyer, Campbell MacCallum, who on behalf of both clients vehemently denied on Wednesday they were involved in the disappearance of Mrs Chardon.

Despite the setback, Superintendent Hutchinson remains confident the mystery, which will enter its third year next week, will be solved.

There are a number of persons of interest in the investigation and he believes one of them holds the key to solving the crime.

"The reward is on offer, the indemnity is on offer but they shouldn't wait until we knock on their door."

Police said the unoccupied 3.6ha property – owned by Coulter’s mum Loretta Sheerin and which was the subject of a drug raid last month – was linked to one of the “persons of interest” in the Chardon murder investigation.

The “person of interest” is believed to be Gold Coast man David Babbington, who was charged over a cannabis raid. Mr Babbington’s Mt Nathan property was raided last year and dug up by police looking for clues to Mrs Chardon’s suspected murder.

It’s understood police linked David Babbington to the Advancetown property after a previous raid uncovered a dismantled hydroponic marijuana setup at the premises.

David Babbington was charged with possessing and producing dangerous drugs and is next due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on February 17.

No charges have been laid against Mrs Sheerin in relation to the drugs.

Solicitor Campbell McCallum walks a person of interest, David Babbington, to his car before driving him away
