Ron Iddles: The Good Cop Podcast | Crime + Investigation on Foxtel

This is a series of six podcasts with a new episode available every Thursday after the TV episode airs at 7.30pm AEDT on Crime + Investigation.

Ron Iddles is The Good Cop, one of the best homicide detectives Australia has ever seen.

This is the story of an old-school cop who is tough, inventive and incorruptible. A man who solved the unsolvable with his head and his heart. How did this intuitive cop put more murderers behind bars than any other homicide detective in Australia?

Told by Ron, each episode will take you behind the scenes of his most challenging murder cases. Complementing Ron’s story will be powerful insights from the victims’ families, his homicide colleagues, journalists and even Ron’s informants and suspects.

I've series linked this show on C+I and I've watched two episodes so far. Not only is he a good cop, he seems like a genuinely good person too.

Hey Bo. Any idea where we can find more than the 6 podcast episodes. My husband is addicted to Rons voice and likes to go to sleep listening to Ron’s podcasts every night. Gotta love Ron but I need some new content. He’s snoring after 2 minutes and I’ve listened to these stories at least 15 times each. We don’t have Foxtel. :(

The Maria James story I’ve listened to on numerous platforms. I’m hoping for resolution on this one for her boys one day.

Not as far as I know. It said on Apple podcasts that the six episodes were from Season 1 so hopefully there’s a Season 2 in the works. As for new content, I can highly recommend any of the Australian newspaper’s podcasts. Dan Box’s Bowraville is particularly good. Speaking of your husband being a snorer, I’m of no help as I’m a fellow snorer myself (or so I’m told — I don’t believe them).

Thanks Bo. I agree Bowraville is also a great listen. As for the snoring, don’t believe them:p
